Yeah, completely different method of play.  I don't really care so much about my own shields because I pop out, one-shot something, and then am back in cover.  Or I have Tali's drone distract something while I snipe it.  If I'm losing shields, I'm generally doing something wrong.

Also, on the higher difficulty levels, I try to avoid relying on my teammates to do much besides offer a little indirect fire support.

i usually have the same play-style. thats why i think Adept is the best since you can do that pull puch combo

The only time I end up running and gunning is usually in the suicide mission when I have to get at those heat exchanger gates to save Tali in the vents.  But then I cloak up before making my move.

The council is a lose/lose situation. Save 'em and they ignore you in ME2, let them die and they get replaced by a few human ass hats.

Yes, hate the fact that she harrases Tali, and although I'm not reallt a Liara fan, I can't say I approve of someone who hates on others for no reason.

And Tali was a sweet innocent little girl in ME1! BTW I didn't really LIKE (you know what I mean) Tali because she was too young but I like her mature version in ME2.

Infiltrator with a Widow is just... a beautiful thing.

I like using the Widow as a soldier. Really easy headshots with adrenaline on.

Actually, I think saving the Council has a lot of benefits for humanity as a whole (though, yeah, definitely not for Shep personally).  The rest of the races take another look at the humans if you bite the bullet for them.
