True but repeated encounters with shepard would cause her reaction to be less severe each time due to adaptation

Leaving aside some future tech, clean rooms are pure hell.  They're only really clean for a day or two between cleanings.  And they're extremely dry, since that inhibits bateria/fungus growth.  If they've been designed right, they're cold, too.

People are nothing but a threat to clean rooms.  People constantly shed skin, hair, exhale moisture laden with bacteria, and track in god knows what from outside the clean room.  This is why when you enter a clean room, you do so covered in disposable clothes.

On one level, the idea of getting naked in a clean room and swapping bodily fluids horrifies me, because I know what the clean-up routine would be like.

On the other hand, totally worth it.
