I've been tempted to buy it but decided against it in favour of other animes. I presume you've watched it, if so what are your thoughts on it?NuclearBuddha wrote...
How about Jin Roh?
Unexpected. I'm somewhat intrigued. How does the animation measure up against the modern day adaptation of "Appleseed", "Appleseed Ex Machina", "Ergo Proxy", etc.?

I'm struggling to find an image that adequately conveys the sense of rage I feel now. Why bring it up and tease us? Actually, why not point us at the "similar" piece so we can at least enjoy something that IS on display?
Edit: Wait, I found one. As bonus, it's about teasing, too.
*snip*And Mastodon is an awesome band.

Let's try this again...
Ahhh yes! The female Drow. Those matrons of cruelty and hedonism. I can thank BioWare for fulfilling one of my teenage dreams of scoring with a luscious female drow thanks to BGII.
P.S. Actually more than one female drow.

It's done in a very realistic style along the lines of Ghost in the Shell or Innocence (same studio). None of the ones you listed is a very good comparison. Appleseed is actually pretty standard in terms of character design, and while Ergo Proxy is a little closer in the "real-looking people" department, it's still not quite there.The_KFD_Case wrote...

You have the misfortune to own an unreliable clock. This one loses exactly 24 minutes every hour. It is now showing 3:00am and you know that is was correct at midnight, when you set it. The clock stopped 1 hour ago, what is the correct time now?

This. But yeah, as I played Arkham asylum, I read all the profiles of the villains, and most of them had tidbits of information similar to my childhood. It's scary...Jake71887 wrote...

6:00am: since the clock is losing 24 minutes every hour, for every real hour that has passed, the clock will only show 36 minutes. Since the clock shows 3:00am, we know that 180 clock minutes have passed. This therefore equals 300 real minutes and hence 5 hours. The clock stopped 1 hour ago and the time must now be 6.00am.
