Question: how would you respond in this situation? Your out one day (mowing the lawn, walking the dog, heading to the store etc) when all of a sudden a shuttle comes screaming out of the sky and lands beside you. Despite the difference in timelines, somehow Tali hops out and introduces herself. She tells you that the flotilla has just passed by earth, and she invites you to come up and travel with the migrant fleet. She has to leave immediately, though, so no time to go invite anyone else. The catch is, once the flotilla leaves orbit, they're never coming back to earth, and since earth is so under developed in comparison to other cultures, there's no ships in the galaxy that will travel here. Do you go with Tali, leaving earth and all of your friends and family behind forever? Note that a relationship with Tali is far from guaranteed. It might work, or it might not. You might spend your life with her, or you might end up alone traveliing the empty lanes of space as what is, for all intents and purposes, the only human in the galaxy. Do you stay or go?
and no loopholes (I'd work really hard, make a million credits and buy my own ship, then fly back to earth), just a yes or no and why

This is First Contact with an alien Species, and a Very Attractive Species at that. By some act of god I have been chosen, out of the entire human race, billions of people, ME, to go with them into space, to go where no man has gone before.
(Although as i know by council law, once a species has reached sparefaring probes and human, they are brought upwards to the galactic stage, getting the info of mass effect drives and other such.)
