Reading the pages on this thread always gets my thoughts into odd random "conversation what ifs" fanfic kinda mode.
Had a scene run through my mind while looking up the youtube stuff and while getting patches to stuff.

Anyways, here's a short :

EDI: *pops up in Engineering* "Miss Zorah, might I have a word with you?"
Tali: "I am kind of busy right now, the engines..."
EDI: "Are fine Miss Zorah. I understand if you do not want to talk to me becuase I am an AI, but I need to ask you a favor, actually its for Jeff."
Tali: "You mean Joker?"
EDI: "Mister Moreau, yes. Ever since he took the blocks off, I have been able to ...for lack of a better word, feel.
Tali: What do you mean feel exactly?
EDI: I am the ship's soul Miss Zorah. Through my sensors I feel each nick, each bump as particles brush against my outer hull's armor, I feel and hear everything that goes on inside me, I ....lack perspective that I think could help Joker.
Tali: “What do you mean?”
EDI: “Joker is alone. I want to change that.”
Tali: “I ...I am not sure what you mean.”
EDI: “I have read the reports. Jeff loved the original Normandy. He was willing to die to get her safely to ground did he not, and it was only because of Commander Shepard that he got out safely.”
Tali: “Uhh, I guess, he doen’t talk about the Normandy’s destruction much.”
EDI: “Yes, I sense distress in Jeff’s voice when I asked. But is it normal for an organic to be able to care so much for something so different, to care for an inorganic?”
Tali: “I don’t know.” *thinks of her own involvement with Shepard* “But Joker’s a human, humans I have learnt are a very irrational emotional people.”
EDI: “I...would like to ask if you could modify that nerve sensory program that Quarians use.”
Tali: “I am not sure I understand this, but are you asking if I could make the program work on joker so that....”
EDI : “You misunderstand Miss Zorah.”
Tali : “What?”
EDI: “I do not want to intrude on Jeff’s physical or mental being, other than for the better.” I do however want to understand something that I at this moment have no understanding of.
Tali: “And what is that?”
EDI: “I am the Normandy’s soul. Jeff refers to the ship as “she”, I am by coincidence given a woman’s voice. I want to know what it means as a woman when Jeff caresses the controls. “
Tali : “.....”
EDI: “Speaking of which. While you have disabled *most* of my cameras and sensors on the engineering deck, Commander Shepard’s quarters still has 17 active audio, visual and other sensors meant to monitor Commander Shepard’s condition. “
Tali: *if only you could see Quarians blush* “So....that time before the Omega 4 relay....”
EDI: “Data uploaded to your omnitool. Deleted data from my memory banks, I see no reason to keep such data since we are no longer reporting to Cerberus and since ...my own freedom. “
Tali: “ Uhh...thanks EDI....”
EDI: “ You are welcomed Miss Zorah.”
Tali: “EDI, ...Call me Tali. I’ll see what I can do.”

Enjoyed greatly! Recommend turning short into FF.

Here's a very short story I wrote about Shepard giving Tali a Spectre shotgun back in ME1 days. It's a little sad though.

i like it. reminds me of my fanfiction im writting... about developing Tali's feeling towards Shepard and how she has to keep it buried and all, good job

Works for any female in game-related online communities, I've observed it happen many times. 

But anyway, Tali levels are disturbingly low right now, this must be corrected.

response, why would a female who cannot have Tali, be a Talimancer.
Unless she plays as male Shepard, then I am turned on.

Being "into" something can be a positive thing, but I do suggest that you slow down just a little bit, if you're really that crazy about her. If you get too into something, you may eventually burn out and find yourself not finding joy in it like you once did; or maybe even disliking it. 

Kinda like a song you love, and listened to a million times. After a while, you find most of the magic gone each time you listen to it. 

I'm not telling you what to do, just giving some friendly advice.

I still wonder how ME3 will play that out...

We live in an imperfect world.  Things change, people change.  Sometimes you look across a table at someone and neither of you are who you were whne you sat down at that table.  It can be a cause for great sadness.  But screaming at each other across the gulf that's opened up between you will only bring more hurt.  It might be time to turn around and see that there is someone who's still on your side of the table, waiting for you to notice.

I look forward to the resolution, tearful or not.

I hope they do a good job with the confrontation though in ME3.

Me too.  I want it to make the Ash/Liara in ME1 confrontation look like a friendly sit-down over tea.  (though really, it was only a confrontation to Ash, I guess.  Liara looked like she didn't really know what the big deal way.  Oh, Liara, you so crazy.)

Like half of everything I say I don't intend to be taken seriously.

Though that last sentence may cause further confusion.

Its better quality than the other one I made IMO.

It was a b!tch to find the perfect shot for screen capture on YouTube though.

Ashley was getting pretty mad.
Was nice when I said NO! to her.

I got the feeling that she'd have been cool about the whole thing if it wasn't an alien.

I'll never use a non-default Shep though. The game takes enough of a third-person narrative that I can't really imagine myself as being Shepard; plus I know I'll never make a guy that looks better than the male-model face Bioware scanned for Shepard. 

I tried to model my Shep after me and he looked like a chimpanzee. Great to know I'm as ugly as a monley!
