My telling you to be bi was a joke, not to be taken seriously as if I truly wanted to impose that on you. Do what you want so long as it doesn't harm others is what I truly feel. People make their own choices and it's wrong to interfere so long as they don't both you. Like I said, if you love your partner, to hell with everything else. Love>all.

Ok. Next time don't say "I'm quite serious" when someone asks you if you're joking if you actually were joking about some of what you said.

And yes, I do love my girlfriend.
Almost as much as I love Tali. <That is a joke.

haha, awesome.

Ah my apologies, I should of clarified what I was serious about. I was serious about my stance of thinking Bisexuality is superior to ****** and hetero sexuality.

I apologize again for the misinformation.

ok i still dont understand why you think its superior...
if you say to everyone his own if it doesnt hurt you than feel free to do it why wouldnt you think straight gay and bi are all equal. just tossing that out there...

Or Don't. It would be nothing I have not heard before.

Like I said, I was all up for dropping this way...wayyyyyy back there.

agreed with cutthecameras
lets forget this topic ever got started this is the Tali thread not the debate superiority of sexual orientation thread hahaha

I'm kind of suprised by the lack of Plushies avalible. They typically are a fairly reliable market item due to extreamly low production cost.

Simple numbers game.

Bisexual people are not limited to half the worlds population to find someone they love dearly.
The other two are.

Homosexuality also suffers from the ignorant masses who judge it harshly, it takes it's toll, and while I don't find it inferior from a ability to love, it's a harder thing to make work then a hetero relationship.

And in the US there is a 50% divorce rate among those.....

Truly loving someone is hard, bisexual have a much larger pool to choose from.

Very objective sounding stance.
I've heard the "you have a higher chance of finding someone if you're bi" thing to death though and I gotta say, I know more single bi people than I know of bi people who are in a relationship at the moment (and I know a looooot of bi people). There are many factors that go into what a person finds attractive about another. You can be in a room of people and not think anyone there is attractive right? Even if you find both genders appealing in their own way...And there is still the very real possibility that someone you find attractive will not find you attractive at all. This goes for straight and bi people alike.

Number crunching is meaningless in all this. Consider the ridiculous amount of genetic diversity responsible for the outcome a single person's sexuality, now consider that you are what you are and no amount of thinking will change it. Face it, even you who think bisexuality is superior cannot help being straight, so your advocacy for bisexuality falls just a little bit short.

Honestly. It's much easier to say there's someone out there for
everybody and we all have an equal shot regardless of what we like,
call me idealistic.

EDIT: Image IPB *smile*

I'm on the fence about seeing Tali's face in ME3. I can understand the frustration of people who don't think it's fair that Shepard gets to see something the player doesn't and want Bioware to stop teasing. I also sympathize with those who like the air of mystery the mask provides, and the ability to project their own ideas of Tali onto her. What side of the fence do my fellow Talimancers fall on?

i can go either way on that topic being i like tali i really want to see her face but at the same time i do enjoy the mystery and wether we like it or not alot of us have "fallin in love with the mask"
if they show her face they have to make her uniquely beautiful instead of just trying to make her "hot" for the fans

I'm objective in all things. I have fairly flat emotions.

I agree, I actually know very few bisexual people who are in succesful relationships. By that token I actually know fewer bisexual people period when compared to even the minority homosexual people I know.

So as for it's actual, practical, advantages I can't say.

I admire idealist much in the same way. It's better then being pragmatic, and knowing this I'm still pragmatic.

I'm on the fence as well.  I'm kinda leaning towards keeping her mask on, but if they end up showing her face somewhere in ME3 I'm alright with it.  In the end, it's BioWare's decision, and I respect that.

I know some people have suggested Bioware let the individual player choose, but I don't think that works at all.  Everyone would feel compelled to at least look up what she looks like on YouTube.  Making her customizable a la Shepard is a little more plausible, but I think that might destroy the suspension of disbelief and make her seem less of a person.

I think I just have to trust Bioware to do the right thing.  They obviously love Tali, considering how amazingly she's written and all the great lines and moments she gets.  I'm confident they'll do right by her no matter what they decide.
