Someone posted the "renegage scale" for ME1 a while back. It was supposed to dictate who would suggest the renegade stuff during in-mission conversations based on who was in the party. Obviously Wrex was the most renegade. Tali sat right in the middle, as I recall.sergio71785 wrote...
Oh, I have a recording of a Tali's response to Shepard on Grunt's recruitment, when you scare that merc.
Shepard: "If you start limping now you might find a shady spot before you bleed out"
Tali: "The scare was a nice touch"
Aww, Tali's adorable even when showing her renegade side. <3
Oh yeah, that. I've got it memorized.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Oh, well, you still have to do Liara's dirty work for that option to come up. I'm thinking the best route for narrative purposes (for me, at least) would be to at least figure out what her problem is ("I couldn't let you go..") and then to tell her straight up she's acting like her mother.cannedcream wrote...
I've never tried that one before. I think I will next time if for no other reason than to save me from running all over that same station again.NuclearBuddha wrote...
I'm finding myself more compelled each time to ignore the "help with Shadow Broker" option in favor of the "Don't give into temptation" convo (which is otherwise lost). The "oh, I'm not my mother, I want to be this way" line makes me less sympathetic.
That's it. LOL at Ash's place.Azint wrote...

Paragon
-Liara
-Kaiden
-Tali
-Ashley
-Garrus
-Wrex
Renegade
This only applies to Mass Effect, of course. I believe they did away with it for ME2.

Whoa! Had no idea Liara would do that. I was almost positive it simply wasn't an option for her due to the scale. But then again, I didn't save Kaidan. I had Garrus taking care of Saren. Send a turian to kill a turian.Goodwood wrote...
With Liara and Kaiden in the party, Liara will headshot Saren's corpse.

Question; do you think that Liara was always going to become something like this, or was it the death of Shepard that made her drop her 'innocent girl' attitude and become like her mother?
I think it was not only loosing shep, but loosing the friends she made with the crew. Plus the influence from her mother. \\/ _ \\/cannedcream wrote...

You know, that's a good question in general. Are some people always monsters just waiting to have something uncover it, or doe trauma actually create a monster inside someone.cannedcream wrote...

Answer: It was Shepard's death and the aftermath that did it, obviously. If Shepard is any kind of friend, she will help Liara get her head on straight if/when the opportunity presents itself.

As long as it does not interfere with my mancing of the Tali, then my Shepard will do what he can.
Agreed. What I'm really regretting about ME2 is the inability to resolve lingering issues w/ Liara. I mean, getting the cheek and head-shake when meeting her on Ilium sure feels like a break-up, but I'd rather really have it out in the open.Goodwood wrote...

Dying and having to reload during that section resets the character order somehow. If you do so w/ Miranda in your party, she does EVERYTHING at the last battle: Answers TIM's call, hands you the grenade, falls off the platform, and catches Shep.cannedcream wrote...

See, I'm having the same problem at the end of ME2, for the live of me I can't get Tali to be the one who slides down the falling platform. So far I've saved Garrus, Zaeed, and Thane (TWICE).
Damn it, Tali! Let me save you from nearly falling to your death!
