After the Jack vs Miranda song part :
In the corner, Legion, who was next to Shepard, was being confused.
"Shepard-Commander,...we...don't understand the concept of this..."
"Don't worry, nobody does..."
"And when it started we had a dysfunctional problem."
"A dysfunctional problem?"
"Yes, we had an 'error system' message reloading while it continue its clamor..."

How's it going kids, anything new?
Tali related? Nope.
I on the other hand feel a stirring vigour. Think it's about time I begin dismantling my "base of operations" here and pack my wordly possessions for trans-national transportation.
Haha! Back to the fatherland for you then? I hope you won't be away for too long, I need my main man KFD here to make me look good!

I dunno, I didn't find her overly dramatic about her issues, it isn't like she was crying about them or anything. Her father used her like a tool, and she had some self esteem issues because of it, as anyone would. I mean, do you really insist that anyone you get involved with have absolutely no emotional baggage?DrakeforBake wrote...
Come on now.I'm supposed to romance a walking drama bomb?
I get it, you don't like the overtly sexy romance, that's fine. But I didn't think Miranda was either whiny or dramatic. Hell, if anyone was dramatic it was Jack; she has more issues than anyone. But I also thought Jack's romance was VERY compelling. Personally I like all the romances. Tali's most of all, but they all have something going for them.
I like Miranda Romance to it was like a battle of the wills between her and Shepherd of who was going to be on top ( we see who won that too

That's why you go to the source.
"Now Tali, if you had to say Legion was more of a boy robot or a girl robot what would you say?"
"Shepard I'm cleaning the engines why do I want to think about the gender of a robot?"
"Well I figured Legion was a boy at first but there's that great big hole in the middle I keep staring at. I've never stared at another man's chest like that before"
"So? Didn't you tell me he patched it?"
"Yeah but with my armour. Is that Geth for linking suit enviroments?"
"Shepard-Commander, we believe it is time to elevate to the next platform. We require additional materials from your code."<3

Man this thread is huge. I think Bioware should let Tali die in ME3, it would have such an emotional impact story-wise on people.
You are a very, very, very very, very brave person. But I understand what you mean.
It's a terrible thing for a person to feel threatened for speaking his/her mind. I've tried it and I will defend anyone's right to the death to be free to express themselves even if I may not always share their opinion (note: with certain mitigating circumstances; ex. self-expression should not result in direct and knowing harm or destruction of other people nor their possessions, IMO).

Indeed, the sentiment is echoed. I myself would be saddened but as long as it was suitably epic and heartbreaking it would be valuable if only for the emotion it would produce. Poor Tali....

I think the Tali fans have painted a rather large target on her back. For maximum emotional impact I'd be very tempted to let the player choose between sacrificing himself and saving Tali or vice versa.

Sacrificing yourself for your loved ones is the only type of sacrifice I accept.
I'd find that acceptable.
As for a target on her back? Specifically her, no, all the LI potentially though.
I'd have a hard time seeing them target Tali over any other specifically unless each chr gets a "loyalty" type mission of signifiantly larger importance and consequence.
Then I could see certain LI having different endings then the others.

Absolutely. Not just Tali, but whoever your LI is perhaps? I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of 'everyone lived happily ever after'. Making a player 'hate' a company for forcing them to make that sort of decision is a powerful thing, especially when the decision is such a tough one to make. When I first played Mass Effect and had to choose Kaidan or Ashley, I was horrified at first because THAT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN. But now I look at it and thing how much more urgent it made the whole game feel.
So yeah, at the least I hope they consider it, or have it like ME2 where decision you make COULD lead to that eventuality.

lol A fair point. While I'm quite sure your organization would not consider it work related (at all), it should be safe for work. Still, best not to have a co-worker standing near you and most certainly not a superior. It's not adult rated though.
