I, as well, would prefer to avoid Kelly. I don't want to catch the scale-itch.

Yeah. If you find someone else, the pic goes face-down (which is good, I guess. I'd hate for Tali to come up for some lovin' and whoops there's Liara staring at her from the desk). Is that what happens if you go for an ME2 LI after having romanced Liara in ME1? If so...yeah, that'd be major, but then, the fact that it's always still up for me during the "Reflections" interlude before the suicide mission makes me think that, yes, the relationship is still on.
