lol Joker has two things to say about Garrus, if I recall correctly. This is the second one: "Well it seems like Garrus has got that pole out of his ass, but now he's beating guys to death with it. I can't believe I liked the old Garrus better." (or something like that)

Didn't know until my 3rd playthrough that Joker had 2 things to say for each squaddie, one after you recruit them and one after their loyalty mission.

Garrus recruitment Joker says "Hey hey Commander we got Garrus back, ya know cuz he was my favorite with that stick up his ass"

"Hey we got Tali, you sure it's her though, right? I mean cuz, well nvm"

That's an easy answer, of course, but Garrus used to be C-Sec.  I wonder if he had issues with "thieving" quarians in the past.  Or if turians in general don't think too much of quarians, who were weak enough to get kicked off their home planet.

Garrus seems to be reluctantly tolerant of Grunt (the possible interplay in Mordin's recruitment mission).

Garrus would pobobly be one of the only C-sec officers that were not as biased toward quarians considering he has a BIG thing about justice, and blaming a quarian even after finding out they are innocent just does not meet Garrus' defenition of justice

I would very much like more social interactions between crew members. You're a team but with few exceptions there's no real camaraderie between characters. Sure, there's a few exceptions, like Jacob and Miranda or Tali and Garrus, but for such a big crew with lots of racial tension, how would Garrus react to Grunt's "I hate Turians" philosophy? What does Samara feel about Thane's past as a merciless assassin? What does Grunt think about Mordin's genophage "improvement"?



It's the same reason I'm practically demanding Ashley and Tali have a confrontation in ME3 since Ash was my ME1 love interest and Tali was my ME2 one... and Ashley is so incredibly pro-human, anti-alien compatibility.
