So anyways, why do you want to die?

Why they'd want to "get back" at a fanbase that slobbers all over itself for her memorabilia I'll never know. All they have to do is release a new Tali toy, plushie, sticker book collection once a month and they'll be set for life.

Bioware, keep Tali alive! I give you ma monies!

Not to "get back" at the fans, not at all. It is just very tempting story-wise since it would resonate with a large portion of them.

Well, she already is capable of dying. So unless it was forced on you that Tali dies in ME3 no matter what, most people would be "OH **** RELOAD" and fix the error.

If she was forced to die, but other LI didn't, simply to affect the greatest number of people, it would make for conflicting play experiances between the players. If her death was a truly powerful and tragic scene, jack fans might clamour for why they missed out on a epic dramatic moment. ME3 is the end of Shepard's story so live or die it's the end for the supporting crew as well.

I direct you towards BioWare's superb and growing games catalog which showcase a long standing tradition and commitment to multiple outcomes for a large variety of situations ranging from small to large throughout their games. This is part of their story telling which is their forte. 'Nuff said really.

Whether one agrees with the facial features, that's certainly an enticing feminine pose, IMO.

sorry baser male instincts  stir when i see that pic , that is a awesome picture through

You and me both pal! As mentioned earlier, I make no apologies for being a red blooded male. However, I do make a point of not intentionally playing with people's hearts and once I'm in a relationship I take loyalty very seriously.

Oh of course   I totally agree...  I will not make any bones about I am  guy and I like sexy beautiful women.. Still once one has captured this heart  of mine...I am fierce loyal almost to a fault... matter  fact there is a lady I am talking to know that  weaving her way into me heart here...

Ahhh! See, those are some of the things I find myself reminiscing about and missing from my time in the Royal Guard (Royal Army)....In fact, it reminds me of a superb major we had. He was a character and seemed like a kind and good man. Due to the reforms that were made in 2004 regarding Danish military forces they are no longer allowed to be as strict as they were in the old days (there is still discipline mind you, but they have to be more creative in avoiding running afoul of legislation). Anyway, they can no longer force you to cut your hair short though you have to wear a hair net if you don't. So as some of the lads let their hair grow out the major was inspecting us and he said, "Gentlemen! I notice some of you are in urgent need of haircuts. You look like a bunch of ****es and not the porno studs you are supposed to be!"

Sounds about right! Image IPB

What were you in the Royal Guard anyway?

A grunt grenadier. I really enjoyed the 16 weeks of basic training (sure, there were moments when some things were less fun but these things pass as do all things). The following 16 weeks as part of the active guard detail for the Danish royal family also had some unique experiences (ex. marching through the streets of Copenhagen with loaded weapons escorted by the tamboor and music corps and police on foot and on horse; being part of the royal reception for new ambassadors to DK; coming face-to-face with the queen, briefly speaking with the prince consort, close contact with the crown prince, his sons and wife, the prince heir, etc.) but it entails a large amount of mind numbing repetition and drill parades (which I like; I like marching and the sound of hundreds of boots marching in unison *sigh*:D). That second part of the stint tends to zap the desire of most of the royal guardsmen (and the occassional woman) to continue in the armed forces.

Listening to the Respawn Radio episode that was posted here earlier while killing time at work, their walking Mass Effect Wikipedia has admitted to Romancing Tali on 4/5 of his completions, I'm pretty sure he called himself a "Tali-mancer"

Moth you can't go around posting stuff like that. Think about it from my perspective, here I am following the thread dedicated to my favourite girl in the universe and then you post something that'll suck up all my attention away from her. Leaving me to catch up on any number of pages, Tali threads demand constant vigilance.

It's not fair. I demand my well spent 20 minutes back.:o

Btw nice read. :D

Hmm, sounds like our Grenadier Guardsman, sh*t hot at drill but get bored so quickly they join the armour corps for some real fun Image IPB

I haven't done anything ceremonial like that for a while, must have been quite a sight at times.  Still, at least you have all the action you need thanks to the electronic medium...

Clearly you need more Tali in your life!

What makes you feel so bad? I know you said before you didn't want to talk about it but if that's the case why keep mentioning how bad it is?

If ever you need to talk, feel free to message me - a strangers perspective often provides an outlook you had not considered.

If you don't wish to do so then just ignore this post!

Sounds like the UK Guardsmen are in the same boat; heck, the DK and UK Guardsmen have very similar outfits (including the bearskin hats - those bastards gnaw at your skull like you would not believe! The first few times I wore it for longer than 45 minutes my skull was on fire and I thought I was bleeding). Still, we are considered the best regular troops since we have to learn the same combat routines as other regiments and perfect drills to a degree that's unheard of amongst other regiments in DK in the same amount of time that they have for less intense training. Our morale also tends to be much higher than the other regiments; I don't know if that's the same in the UK?
