Personally, I like her for her personality, and dislike Miranda for the same reason.  Most people here like Tali for her personality and the way she acts.  She has a nice body on top of that, but that isn't the primary reason.  I think it speaks to the maturity of her fans in general that they can see past the lack of seeing her face, and the weird alien traits and see her for the great character that she is.

I don't see how the fact that some people like to discuss her makes them immature white boys.  She's a great character, and a lot of people recognize that.

Alliances of convinance are more common that you'd think.
And yes the Tau and Eldar would be smart enough to see the benifits of an alliance, and besides we are an uknown quantity to them.
All they know is that we are fighting Chaos, therefore cooperation is mutually benificial.

The Tau, I'll give you that but the Eldar view all humans in the same light and the Imeprium ally  with no one but themselves, the fact that you dont worship the emperor is ground to have the sith executed, hell, they'd have you guys executed on the spot for no reason other then an inquisitor felt heresy around.

Besides, even the sith cant touch the eye of terror.
