I think it all really depends on how you played and the timeframe that ME3 will be in. If its close to or immediately after the collector's base destruction, you'd still have Samara, whom has on top of her Justicar oath, made another pledge to my Shepard that I can call on her anytime in the near or distant future should I need help. Facing the reapers would in my book equates to needing help.  So Samara should be there.

Thane I am not so sure.
He might die, or if Bioware is kind we'll find a way to give him more time, a few more years perhaps. I don't know.
Thane is one of the reasons I am pissed at Bioware, he is for all intents and purposes seem to be the "throw away" romance for the ladies or those who would play a femshep and take a for-female LI option. At least there's still Garrus.

I guess I am one of the few Talimancers who likes *all* the LIs (yes, including Thane / Garrus when I play a femshep) though I do lean towards Tali more then any other.

The only problem I have is thinking how to logically get Liarra back on the Normandy given her actions in ME2.
Anyways thanks for the encouragement, I do hope that Bioware will eventually put claws on our LIs and we'll see a catfight....

My first and maybe only fan fiction. My comment on the page explains why. I think I was attacked by a muse in my sleep. I rather rattled the words in to my word processor without much thought, so hopefully all the parts are coherent. If not the least I can do is try to patch it up.
