Quarians are most certainly not amphibians.  I don't care how you want to play with the semantics, we know in the end, they will be most closely similar to mammals.

Though to be fair, Tali was given a fair amount of thought it seems by the writers and definitely more then the other LIs.
All we can hope for is that in ME3, they will outdo themselves. Its too bad that "real world" politics and the need to be "socially / politically" right and avoid a possible "media **** storm" has seen Bioware shackled their writing. Unlike Viconia's retelling of torture and rape at the hands of humans.

good story telling takes a back seat when being "politically correct". Its a shame ... I don't think Bioware will ever tell good enriching stories. I fear the worst for ME3..

You think Bioware doesn't tell good stories?
Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, KotOR, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2! You don't think that any of those games had enriching stories! I'm suprised Shazzammer, suprised and dissapointed.
Bioware is one of the only companies to write enriching stories!

no no you misread (either that or I don't write my thoughts out well). Bioware makes some of the best stories ever. Its just that if the media comes in the way and yells foul, good story telling takes a back seat. Thats it! Please don't hang me!

all species with breasts are pretty much mammals. thats where the name comes from. the mammalian glands. quarians have breasts, therefore they are essentially mammals.

I fully expect them to have hair.  The only remote evidence we have is the females wearing headdresses as an analogue for hair. 

From a logical standpoint, I also expect Bioware to make Tali attractive, and that means hair.  It is easily explainable into the story, and doesn't hurt anything, so why not?

There's BIOWARE'S twist. She looks like Jack only without tattoos and make-up. Good god I can see it now.

They decide to make her not attractive concerning normal human tastes, like hair, and then people really have to like her for her personality.

I've actually thought about that happening, but the Talimancers already passed that test.  Bioware didn't think many people would like her in ME1 because we couldn't see her face and her body was weird.  We proved that we like her for her personality already, making her ugly would just be trolling your fanbase at this point.

It has definitely not been confirmed one way or the other.  Unless this just happened in the last 5 minutes.

There was a thread floating about a while ago about quarian hair, I think the link was there. But don't take my word for it.

Use your google eyes.

The onus of proof is on the accuser.  Given that this thread is full of the most fanatical Tali fans on the internet, and said link has never been posted, I'm just fine with saying it doesn't exist.  If you can prove me wrong than good for you, but I doubt it.

I'd rather like to think they look like a mix of Asari and Turian (although we never have actually seen female turians). I think they'd have head fringes.
