I usually romance Tali because like you said, Kelly is boring and the other two are abrasive and annoying. But, Legion does pretty much anything Tali does but better. Tons of team mates are useful though. Tali's role in ME2 is less significant. I don't see the trial as pulling her ass out of the fire. She was willing to be "burned' so to speak. I simply found a fire extinquisher conviently.

Cool speeches > plot consistency!!

Imagine how vicious the yelling could be after she GETS exiled.

And since she doesn't romance you if you villianify her father, then the exile gets worked into the cannon romance. It becomes a serious plot point of the romance about how she doesn't even mind being exiled because now she gets to be with you, yadda yadda.

Much better ending for all.

That poll is just wrong.
As I stated in comments, I think of Tai and Shepard as equals, they both treat each oher that way and I am not going to vote on that.

I don't really care about the poll results, but I've never figured out why people like Shepard so much. There are a quite a few characters I like better than Shep. It's probably just me, though. I fully expect people to call me a ****** now.

Not to keep agreeing with everything you post, but I do kind of wish her getting exiled was inevitable.  It would make Tali's personal story a lot more meaningful, and it would make her a better character when she would continue to support the fleet after getting exiled. 

It would also make for a nice reunion when they welcome her back in ME3 after her and Shepard get the home world back

know when to make your shotgun wielders actually use their shotgun

She is really useful for
a soldier. Combat drone is the best thing ever. Knock people out of
cover, draws fire and either blows up shoots them.

Use aquad
incindary ammo and the eviscerator with her and she rapes enemies, and
this is on insanity

The key is
that I can direct her behnid boxes and, now I have to emphasize,
she doesn't hop ontop of boxes without cover and not move until dead.
Or maybe I'm just good at directing people [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie] but I
know for a fact Miranda Jacob and Jack love to hop ontop of boxes and
stare at 'em, like they're macho or something. Miranda doesn't give good
squad health and damage while dead, right? Otherwise

might be worth it....NAAH psh.

Dark Caduceus you romance Tali but then post that and a Tali death video? The human is confused. What I AM sure about is that Shepard and Tali are the 2 in the poll, so no matter what, they'll be next to each other. As it should be

Because she's not a real person. I don't feel like I betrayed someone because I blew them up and then had a romantic entaglement with them in a video game. It's just all in good fun. The fact that people were upset with me over that video is almost as funny as the people saying "Keelah se'lai".  I guess the person who made the suicide mission death compilation hates EVERY squad mate?
