Minsc is for sure the best of the best, though techically I'd like to put in "The Nameless one" from Planescape Torment at the top of the list though its not really a "Bioware" work. Still done by the same peeps / Writers though if I remember from the old and now defunt Black Isle Studios.  REALLY a sad day then they closed shop.

I like Aerie plenty, but I was including extreamly strong, interesting characters who don't have to be a LI even. Aerie is who I romanced when I was a super depressed angst no self esteem Teen. Now I prefer more independant and strong women.

And I don't prefer Jaheria, i've only romanced her once in all my upteen million BG2 playthroughs, I just think she's a really well developed character. It should say something too, I hate druids and harpers and she's always in my party.

I agree with you.  I don't even see him as a character in the same light as the others.  He's too fluid.  He has thousands of different characters, different for each person.  No combination of choices for me makes him more likeable than a few other characters.  I can see how people would like him though.

Uhh most people like Shepard because they are in control over much of his actions and are thus themselves Shepard.

On the topic of the poll I don't care if tali loses I know she's the best already. Hell, she's the only reason I play Male shep (seriously he sounds more like a robot than LEGION)
