If it bothers you so much that someone with chicken feet is #1, I dk what else to tell you besides just be accepting, be content with what you HAVE, not what you don't have.

Just saying she has chicken feet, nothing wrong with that. Although Casey seems to think so...

Exactly like human skin.  Lets not get too outlandish, this is popular sci-fi, and Tali is an attractive alien that a human audience is supposed to like.

Probably gooey, all that time in the dark pressed against rubber or whatever.

Luckily, thanks to the benefit of super advanced sci-fi technology, Tali has nano-machines in her suit that keep her completely clean at all times.  So its always like she is freshly out of the shower

I
just saw a topic about this one reaching 100000 posts. It made me a sad
panda. Every Tali fan should know that outside this thread, Tali is
forbidden. That way, haters need to come here, where the Talibase is too
strong to take down.

That being said, here's one for all of you.
Posted this like 50 pages back.

Ahhh!
Aerie kinda ran the gauntlet for me. Thought she was cute at first, then too clingy, then when TOB came out and I found that she had matured some, she was kinda perfect.
What I really miss in Bioware games now is how your companions are kinda one dimensional, well most of them. They did do a good Job with Jack on this one at the emotional level so I give them props for that.

But BG1 and 2  had your companions really grow with you, not just in powres and levels but characterwise as well. Really really miss that. Aerie becoming much more confident and sure of herself if you romanced her and she has your baby, Viconia changing her alignment, Jaheria finding more then just her duty and commitment to "balance" to look forward to, Anomen getting past his relationship with his father, stuff like that. Even Minsc .

"Squirrels! Quick Boo....Throw nuts!"

I always understood her clingyness, she needed to. She was a super privileged and sheltered child who's 1 act of goodness ended up costing her everything she ever had. I may be bold in saying this, but if she had stay'd in the circus with Quayle instead of traveling with the Bhaalspawn, she would of never gained enough courge to begin loathing existance in the first place. She would of been too meek to even despair without Protaganist's support.

And yes, the complete lack of character changes bugs me in ME2. DA:O did a little of it, but only for Leliana and Alistar.

Thats why I wish the exile was forced, force Tali to adapt and change who she is.

i see where you are coming from, but their suits are really advanced so i don't think the skin touches the "rubber" or the actual suit but probably something else similar to the Spartan suits from Halo, the MOJLNIR or what ever it is

Its because the Talimancers are very united.  We all vote as one in large favorite character polls, while other fans votes are spread across 10 other options.

In this scenario, all the Tali fans are already voting for Tali still, but now the fans for all other characters add in their vote, and almost all vote for Shepard.

I don't think there's any chance of Tali losing a poll between all characters, its when the choices are focused between Tali and one other character that the combined forces can defeat the Talimancers.

There was already a Shepard vs Tali poll a few weeks ago and Tali won easily. I'm guessing the recent wave of Tali vs anti-Tali polls turned a lot of people who didn't really have an opinion before, against her.

A major fan base shift over 2 months after the release of the game seems unlikely to me.  I think the more likely scenario is a small sample size.  There could just be less Tali fans/more Shepard fans on at the moment.  The poll hasn't even been up for an hour has it?

You're probably right, tomorrow, if the poll hasn't been forgotten Tali could easily win. It doesn't really matter, though. All of the polls use convenience sampling which is the most unreliable way of gathering data. (Two semesters of analyzing survey/polling data)

Oh yeah, Tali is rad.

No, you're not "just saying she has chicken feet", it's EVERYTHING ELSE, TOO. I'm saying if it bothers you that Tali has this much fandom on the website, I suggest you learn to put those minor grudges of "being #1" or w/e behind you. Even if you don't understand why she has this, which you obviously don't, if you aren't willing to learn why people like her then you should agree to disagree and not continue hating, because in real life, it's not healthy, and you're young so you don't need that in your future.

Isn't Spartan armour behind Mass Effect armour? I mean regular assault rifles take out their shield pretty quick, I understand mass accelerated weapons pack sondierably more punch. also, his armour doesn't allow health regeneration does it?

I'm still not sure why people think of their suits like they think of modern day suits.  This is 200 years of technological advancements in the future, the suits are designed by the best of the best by a race of tech geniuses for their entire race to spend their entire lives in.  Comfort would be right behind functionality as a concern.  I doubt quarians can even tell they have a suit on.
