Ahhh!
Aerie kinda ran the gauntlet for me. Thought she was cute at first, then too clingy, then when TOB came out and I found that she had matured some, she was kinda perfect.
What I really miss in Bioware games now is how your companions are kinda one dimensional, well most of them. They did do a good Job with Jack on this one at the emotional level so I give them props for that.
But BG1 and 2 had your companions really grow with you, not just in powres and levels but characterwise as well. Really really miss that. Aerie becoming much more confident and sure of herself if you romanced her and she has your baby, Viconia changing her alignment, Jaheria finding more then just her duty and commitment to "balance" to look forward to, Anomen getting past his relationship with his father, stuff like that. Even Minsc .

I always understood her clingyness, she needed to. She was a super privileged and sheltered child who's 1 act of goodness ended up costing her everything she ever had. I may be bold in saying this, but if she had stay'd in the circus with Quayle instead of traveling with the Bhaalspawn, she would of never gained enough courge to begin loathing existance in the first place. She would of been too meek to even despair without Protaganist's support.
And yes, the complete lack of character changes bugs me in ME2. DA:O did a little of it, but only for Leliana and Alistar.
Thats why I wish the exile was forced, force Tali to adapt and change who she is.
