Am I the only one that thought the game wasn't hard enough to warrant using anyone aside from your favorites at any time?  Or is it just more of an optimization discussion in general, who would be best if it was necessary?

This is ammo to be used against the "power gamers" who say Tali is useless
My Tali build

Explosive drone 4
Quarian Engineer 4 (take whichever you want)
AI Hacking 2
Energy Drain 3 (I think)
may trade Quarian engineer 4 for ED 4
Squad Incindary Ammo
Eviscerator

BTW: Real men play soldier

Role players play Infiltrators.
We excel from the front or from behind.

Though my Tali is a little different.
Max Explosive Drone
Max Quarian Engineer
AI Hacking 3
Energy Drain 2
Eviscerator

Goes well with Garrus / Legion.
Legion will have Widow as Primary / same as my Shepard Infil.
2 widows + 2 Drones + Tali on flank taking pot shots with her Eviscerator = LOTS of dead things in a hurry.


Put her behind cover in a flanking position and she rips up stuff focused on me on Insane levels.
Anyone who says Tali isn't useful isn't using her right.

The immuno-booster proved unnecessary. The turian wine, however, was quite useful.

Why do RPers play Infiltrators? I played the game from a roleplaying perspective but went Sentinel. Would you say Infiltrator is more appropriate given that Sheperd tends to lead small teams on covert missions rather than leading full frontal charges on large forces?

She's got very good combat AI which is why I don't care that on Insanity the shotgun is hard to use. She doesn't hop over boxes and I actually don't command her to use her skills that much, she knows when to cast that drone, and the 20 or w/e seccond cooldown is not as noticeable to me as it's made out, saved my ass in some dead ends (and of course, blowing the legs off Husks when I'm getting mauled)
