When I played online game it would drive people crazy when it would say something like "You were killed by Somebody".

@ Goat, aww come now, some FFs can be REALLY bad, while others can be really good. Over the years I have seen some gems that make you wonder if the writer were actual professionals writing under a pseudonym.
FFs can be fun too. Though, sadly some times it is really a lot of hard work. Give them a chance.

Well ya. For me anyways. I have had some orphaned works. Somehow I lost the train of thought, and could not finish, or I didn't want to because it became something other then what I first envisioned the story to go, and looking back, am horrified by the path I took.

I've read the most interesting short-pieces on this thread, but no full ones. Some of the shorts are impressively in-depth, but I know I wouldn't get toe deep in writing if I didn't know the minordetails. Must research, must finish Lost Symbol and read Ascension. In the meantime, must support Tali and all things ME by reading FF, for the good of humanity.
