Tali walks down the corridors of the Normandy, she hears the faint hum on the engines, but no other noise, everyone but the watch guards on the upper deck are asleep, the ship cruises on auto-pilot. It's late at night, but she can't get to sleep, so she's taking a stroll through the SR2 until she gets tired enough to fall asleep. "Hmmmm...", she thinks, "I wonder what Shepard will think of my new suit, it's rather more snug and showy than my last o-" She finds herself on the ground, a trip wire took her out. "What the hell!" she thinks, before a tarp is thrown over her. She struggles to get free, but gets disoriented and breaks her face open smacking it only the metal floor of the new Normandy. "Help, Shepard! Help me! The Normandy is under attack!", she yells into the night. "No one said you could talk, jackass!", is the reply, followed by a boot to the face, Zaeed is attacking her! She hears other voices now, Miranda and Samara and Grunt, then she feels it, kicking, they're all kicking her in the face! "Pass me a bat", she hears, "it's Shepard!" she thinks to herself. "You got it battlemaster", Grunt replies. The kicking stops, the assault ceases for a moment, Zaeed throws the tarp off, revealing the horror underneath, a hideous creature lurks under the mask. Samara vomits, "in my millenia long life, I've never seen something to repulsive...". Shepard speaks up, "let's end this". He lift the bat, infuses it with biotic energy then brings it down on Tali's face, which is vaporized under the biotic force, Grunt picks her up by the hips and crushes them before throwing them the Zaeed, who promptly stuffs the carcass into the garbage compactor. Miranda steps forward, looks at her companions and presses the "eject" button. Tali's headless corpse is launched into space. The rest of the Normandy rises from their hiding places, the new bar is opened, Legion is serving drinks. It's time for celebration, the beast is dead. The unvierse, safe, for now...

Hey, I was just being realistic about that poll.
The poll doesn't really make all that much sense anyway, you can't really compare squad members and Shepard. The important thing is that Tali annihilated all the other squad members. And rightfully so, since she's the best character in the series.

Agreed, I don't put much stock into a poll weighing one character against dozens of others combined, which is what this poll is.  I don't really care how others feel in general, but Tali's position as the most loved character in the Mass Effect universe is steadfastly in place.
