That gave me an idea for a topic.
If shepard(or anyone else, for that matter) wanted to get Tali a pet, what animal* would it be?

*for simplicity: assume it's an animal from earth.

In AD&D a Gnomish Demi god, Baervan, owns a raccoon named Chiktika Fastpaws.

That's okies.
I can't count how many times I replayed BG2. Over the span of almost 10 years, I think its been more then 30++ times now.

I think its only fair that she has given tribute to that game, that if she was to get a "live" pet. It would a raccoon.


Been watching some old stuff....both Fantasy and Sci-fi.
So at the moment, I am on a Babylon 5 binge.
Its so uncanny how many things I see in that show that might have influenced the ME universe. Even the collectors look so much like the "Shadows" from that series.

Watching this again brought Man-tears to my eyes.

Tali vs Shepard Poll
Personally I think that this poll stinks as it uses a "generic" shepard. Aka, the player's Shepard. So in essense its everyone vs Tali. In that vein, it would mean supporting this Shepard  as well.

Its a good thing too. Not too many people voting, considering the number of registered users. Still considering this is a "Tali vs everyone else poll, our girl is doing quite well.
I originally didn't want to vote as I thought the poll was dumb. But after realising that it was set up to set Tali up vs every player's Shepard, I had to vote for Tali.

I'm not a fan of the new show, I will admit. I'm a fan of the old show. I'm old enough to remember it, the first time around and Starbuck will -always- be a cigar-smoking wisecracking hard-drinking womanizer to me.

I'm sure the show itself is good sci-fi.

But it's not Battlestar Galactica.
