Shale gets Threaten
Shale gets a passive threaten built into her tank build
she gets an aoe taunt
she regens massively while in combat

Send Shale in with Threaten on. Use aoe taunt
Force Field Shale when she drops to 30% life

She will not lose aggro. She can't be hurt while FF and she'll be full life when it wears off.

Shale is the best tank because she can't lose aggro.

You can also ignore everything but COn since she doesn't need dex for her tank skills, giving her an absurd HP pool.

She's pretty much indestructable.

Pff! My Paragon Soldier Shepard would wipe the floor with Tali. Sorry Tali, this is one of those rare occasions where my vote does not go in your favour.

There was one earlier with Tali v. Morrigan. I coudn't choose.

My warrior never loses aggro, and rarely drops below 50% health... Not to mention he keeps up ~30% of the entire party's dmg at all times...

I've had my whole party die except my warrior and have him take down a group of 7 archers(Happened in howe's dungeons)

who here thinks that maybe the poll got the head people of bioware attention

I don't know and I'm not sure I really care either. When I clicked on a link to the poll it was broken. It didn't show up on the first page of "Polls", and frankly if the poll is between whether I like my Shepard or Tali more then it's almost bound to end up with me selecting my Shepard over Tali. Without him the entire ME story and universe that I've become invested in - including characters such as Tali - disappear given the way BioWare has built up the setting with a focus on wanting the player to associate him/herself with their chosen Shepard.

That is why after I realised that the poll was set up with the "generic" Shepard in mind, meaning *your* Shepard, no matter how you played it, its a poll "stacked" against Tali. Tali vs Everyone.
More to the point, it also means that should you choose "Shepard" in this case it would also mean saying this Shepard is your choice over Tali.

While its a technical point and yes, the above "Shepard" is not *your* Shepard, that is what I thought and felt.
Thus even though I had originally thought not to make a vote, considering both Shepard and Tali to be equal, I had to give Tali her vote because this poll is just wrong.

It wasn't a difficult choice for me. My Shepard's kind of an idiot, always asking stupid questions...

DLC is for xbox kiddies who need a quick adrenaline fix and don't mind using their parents Credit Card to get it.

I don't do DLC. Even for good games.

Your warrior sounds like a wussy. My warrior took down a group of 8! archers.

True story.

Do you play on Insanity? The game is effortlessly easy on the lower ones, I had to bump it up to the max to make even a small dent in challenging me as much as infinity engine games occasionaly would.

And your warrior not losing aggro, you must be light on the dps. I had to build Alistar as a tank for Howe's estate and he did a fine job of surviving, but my rogue backstabbing for 90 every half second with momentum on, he couldn't hold aggro for ****.

I read your point previously. I do not accept your argument that voting for one's personal Shepard (default settings or not) automatically means voting for every other Shepard out there. It is flawed logic. That said, I do agree with you that the poll is set up in such a manner that the odds would appear to favour the "Shepard" option, at least on the surface. Conversely if Tali wins then that raises the very real possibility that the voting is also skewed based on demographcis (i.e. there may be a predominant amount of Tali fans in a rather limited voting poll in terms of size). I voted for Shepard and I have no regrets about doing such.

sigh...this grasshopper has much to learn. I knew DLC was cheap and that Bioware has a bad history with it, but, Idk, its free I guess. These outfits betta be worth dat moneh though.

I played this one on Hardcore, next playthrough is Insanity...

And I don't really play with a backstabbing rogue much, but the few times I had Zevran with me, it didn't make an impact much, my tank has good crowd control as well as threat.

Indeed. DLC...eh. I'm not a fan. A genuine "expansion pack" as existed some 10 years ago, now that is something I may spring for (but even then it's not a given). I don't plan on buying "Awakening" for example, and if I do certainly not at the current price - not because it's not of decent length (I think it is based upon what I've read of it), but because it has cut out too many of things from DA:O that I would want to continue with in an expansion pack.

As for paying for outfits...even if it's only 160 points...Hah! Yeah. That'll happen. :pinched:

Hah thats the problem with desiging something as OUR character. We give ourselves the choice bits of gear and stat crunching.

Str built momentum sword/dagger rogues put out abscene damage, where no warrior tank(mage tank can but they take a bit more time to build then Shale and I like building them for CC more) can hold aggro well enough.

Zevran wastes too much into dex and cunning to put out decent numbers.

Sorry :(

Just callin' it like it is. Alas, there is precious little dialogue, and the two lines that are there are recycled from 'standard' sets. One of them is the version of "okay, objective succeeded/we got this one" line that all characters have. Pretty generic, really.

It's free, and it was an enjoyable hour or so. I don't feel 'cheated' by it like a lot of the posters here seem to. I didn't expect much, and I pretty much got what I expected: A a hover vehicle with a jump boost effect that could fly around and shoot stuff.

Lol, well I have to admit, my rogue was pretty much my main tank when I played him; but nothing can outtank my main character warrior... ^_^

Thank you smecky-kitteh. There are
always immature people posting/trolling/spamming w/e, so I feel like the Talimancers get
lumped together as a collective of obsessed snobbish perverts, but from the dozen
or so people that post intelligent conversation in this lightning fast
thread, I appreciate it a lot. Otherwise I wouldn't come here. They are true Talimancers
