That's the fun, W40K doesn't take itself THAT seriously. I mean the Orkz fire anti-tank guns that teleport goblins(gretchin?) inside them.

Tali would totally fit in as an Ork Mekboy. She's a Quarian, give her scrap metal, some wiring and a pinch of element zero and she'll be making your RED WUNZ GO FASTA!

Typical, as if Mass Effect is more realistic.  Both are in the same boat, sure one is more outlandish then the other but both are impossible.

Besides, If I were a bettin man, Tali would have never fallen for Shepard in the first place.  The way the Quarians are stuck in that Armada, I could easily see them becoming extremely xenophobic.

But I like Tali, just stating the obvious, when a group is isolated for long periods of time, they tend to be xenophobic and frightened by outside influences.

Is not isolated. Need to trade. Need to salvage. Use Mass Relay.
Pilgrimages intent partially that point.
And cannot generalize. Whole species can't be xenophobic, only certain percent of population.

Quarians are insular by nature, but they make it a point to avoid xenophobia, at least on a personal level.  The whole point of their pilgrimages is to go out into the universe, among the other races, and find something to help the flotilla.  By that token alone, they have to be somewhat accepting, or willing to work with other races.  They aren't stuck in the flotilla at all, their culture makes dealing with other races, and thwarting xenophobia, a point.

Tali is no different.  She expects to be discriminated against by non quarians, she shows absolutely no xenophobia towards others.  One of her best lines of in the game is where she talks about how Shepard, a dashing commander, saves her life, lets her join his crew, and treats her as an equal.  That's all you need to know about why she would fall for him.  She doesn't expect much from others on her pilgrimage.  Shepard was there for her like no one else.  It would be weird if she didn't develop some kind of feelings for him.

Possibly but the whole pilgrimage thing goes against that. If they're so xenophobic of the rest of the Galaxy why do they force their best and brightest into diving head first into them?

This. The Pilgrimage forces interaction with other species.

I hate it when two posts fuse like that...

Of course, your points are valid.  Still, as a whole I could see them similar to the Batarians in there xenophobic ways.  Although there still MY FAVORITE RACE, it doesn't mean that everything I say about them has to be positive. <_<

About the pilgrimage...

The other races treat them like crap and vermin, wouldn't that promote xenophobic thoughts?

Not necessarily. Go out expecting it. Would actually encourage behavior to attempt to prove others' xenophobia wrong.

Doesn't have to all be positive, but should have some evidence to back up negative claims.  Batarians are visibly racist.  They're not xenophobic as much as they are outright enemies to humans in general from a political standpoint.

There is no evidence at all in game of the quarians being xenophobic, especially not more so than other races such as humans/turians.  You stated that people isolated (which the quarians aren't really,) would be xenophobic, which is a big generalization that is mostly innaccurate in itself, and also not supported in game.

Still, I would still see a group similar to Terra Firma within the Migrant Fleet.

Group of them, yes. Large number, not necessarily.
Remind you nothing is...human expression...?
Ah. Yes. "Black and white."
Odd expression, but given grey shades in between, suppose works.

What does that prove?  There are extremists within every group of people.  There are 17 million quarians.  If a couple dozen are xenophobic, that means you can stereotype quarians as xenophobes?  There are more than a few extremist human groups that I sure as hell don't want all of humanity stereotyped by.

Ok here you go guys! My new Tali fan art! Here she is working hard down in engineering! Im not sure they have screwdrivers and wrenches in the far far future but....to hell with it! I love women wrench jockies! Also, please note, she is trying to get a footing to get down lower into the ship (if you ever tried working on a huge Navy ship engine like I have, im sure you can relate). Anywho ... enjoy!! I had so muuch fun making this. It really turned out well!

But still, when an entire race has been treated like crap for over three hundred years, you'd expect them to have a grudge, wich you dont see.  Theres a big one agaisn't the geth, plainfully obvious, yet the way they were treated by the rest of the races after the exile, I just see them being pissed off as a whole, I certainly would.

I like it. Interesting take on her suit. her legs aren't quite recurved enough, but I like how the variance in line depth gives it impact
