It's kinda like... when a child wants attention, and he's waving around his toy, wanting people to look at him.
I think that's probably what drives most trolls, at least this one. He likely feels somewhat left out, and has a "sour grapes" effect going on since he observes a community of others having some fun without him, thus he attempts to disrupt them.
But fortunately, the weekend is almost here, so he'll be able to go hang out with his buddies, as he mentioned earlier this week. I hope he has some fun, I think he could use it.
