They should order take out at a place that sells food for both Humans and Turians, set up a table in the airlock (which sterilizes the air), and then she can take off her mask and actually eat something that isn't nutrient paste. :lol:

I meant more like how do you know the friend and things like that. For example, your ex? your mate from school years?

Tali's head spins a little as she looks down at her plate, then at Shepard's calm face. Though her body is slowly acclimatizing to the normandy's environment she still needs a great deal of antibiotics and immuno-boosters each time she wants to spend time with shepard outside her suit. Anyways, Shepard paid a premium for this Zakera Cafe Dextro-amino food and she didn't want to offend him by not finishing it. What confused her more was the Normandy's eating utensils.



(Paragraph! Yaaaay! I think you'll like this story now even more than the last one!)



She eyed the instrument on the right, it was essentially a stick with a concave slab at the end of it, she remembered it being called a.. Spoorl? A Spoom? Tali was confused, and starting to get self-concious. She looked towards the left of her plate, she picked up the human eating tool that lay there, it was a stick ending in four metal prongs, she toyed with it in her hand, trying to get a feel for it. She glanced up at Shepard once again, "Aren't you going to use your fork?", he asked smiling. She hesitated for a moment, "I'm sorry Shepard, i don't really know ho-".



Shepard rose from his chair and in one swift motion plunged his fork into Tali's oversized eyeball. It exploded like an egg being dropped. "Keelah! Help me, someone!!", the frantic quarian exclaimed. A dark shape materialized from he shadows behind her. "Th-Thane?! What but how...", Tali asks the Drell. "I do have some experience with infiltration", comes the reply. Thane's hand glows blue and he casts pull on Tali, Shepard summons his bio-amp's power and unleashes his most powerful warp, combined with Thane's biotics it detonates her body, rending her very bones into splinters. The dissolving carcass falls on to the table, limp. Shepard's door opens and Grunt steps inside. He sniffs the air and tracks the odour to it's source, "Mmmmmm, lunch!".

Quarian eyes have been discussed quite a bit, sadly I can't remember where.

In my opinion, the two most likely reasons their eyes glow are:

 -They have a  tapetum lucidum. This is a special layer some animals have behind their retinas, that results in "eye shine" (like cats/dogs).

-The glow is simulated by the mask. I suspect that the only reason they ever gave Tali glowing eyes was so that the player could see where here eyes were at (eyes are extremely important to humans, to form emotional bonds and whatnot).

Other possibilities, which I don't think are likely, but aren't impossible:

-Bioluminescence. I don't think it makes a lot of sense for a creature's eyes to actually glow--it's the opposite of what an eye is supposed to do (receive light, not emit it).

-Cybernetic implants. I don't see any reason why every Quarian would be given synthetic eyes. It would consume many resources, and the surgery would increase the likelyhood of infection. 

EDIT: Hey, here's an idea. Try going to Google and typing in +"tali alive" +tapetum
You'll likely get the pages in this thread that have discussed eyes.
