It sounds like you formatted your computer. 

For future reference, if you get some catastrophic software related PC failure, you don't have to lose everything.

What you do, is you just install Windows again without formatting. Now, this is usually a bad idea, since it'll be a sloppy install, but it'll give you a usable environment to back up your files (Though if the problem is virus related, don't back up any files which could contain the virus, like doc files or .exe's).

Then when you've rescued the stuff you want, reinstall Windows again with a fresh format.

Yup, also stop being a meanie, because what goes around comes around. E.g- You were mean to me, now your computer got a virus and you lost a ton of work. I was nice to you, and now I just found the watch I want for about 20% less than normal retailers sell it for.

Shepard could always start eating nutrient paste formulated for humans.
I actually touched on that idea in my fanfic, albeit only a relatively brief mention. You figure Quarians probably had a really rich culture of foods that more or less had to be abandoned due to lack of resources and inconvenience once they ended up stuck on their ships after the exodus from Rannoch.

I can't see Tali liking that idea.  It would probably just make her feel bad about herself in the end that Shepard is giving up something that he likes for her.  While the initial gesture is nice, I can see her getting sad about the whole situation.  She's very selfless, she's just fine dealing with hardships like that, and I think she would prefer Shepard to be as happy as possible.
