now I feel bad...on the plus side thought I think I'm getting close to finishing the next chapter of my fic. I'm also putting it under consideration to start a full ME2 fic.

I empathize, my hard drive crashed and I lost most of my saves too. I had a couple I was intelligent enough to back up, along with achievement profiles, so at least I don't have to grind out everything. But yeah, mostly lost.

i for one really like this pic i mean hoping for more of a light purple colored skin but it's every well done....

hey, if you use Steam, dont forget to right click and click backup, saved my ass a few times (that is if you use steam)

There's software that can recover lost files. Files don't truly get erased when you format/delete; what happens is the clusters on the HD that they're on get flagged as available for writing. The files stay in place until that happens.

Now, during the reinstallation of Windows, some stuff was re-written, but there's a very good chance that those saves weren't written over.

I'll be fine, I've got a week off coming up and I was planning on replaying ME1 anyway.

Good to hear. Losing save games is always a pain in the ass... I remember once accidentally deleting my saves for an old PS2 game. I was so pissed.

AT least he can play games. My laptop is tice as fast as my Xbox and IT CANT EVEN PLAY DUKE NUKEM

It's not about the speed, man. You need to upgrade loads of things to play games, like RAM, CPU... etc, etc.
