Like him. Honest man. However, Garrus already filled "Bro" position. Also took a level of "Badass" between ME1 & ME2. Obviously, Tali comes before all.

while looking for...” Shepard paused and stuttered at the last word. “...Something.

“Infiltrating the Flotilla?  How could one possibly think that could
ever be for the greater good of the fleet? Even if we were infiltrating
to get Admiral Xen; it wo-” Tali cut off mid-sentence and turned to face
Shepard. “-what were you searching for?” Tali placed her hands on her
hips. 

Shepard shifted uneasily in his seat. “Nothing important...”

“Nothing important?”  Tali directed her attention
to the console in front of him. 

“Lets have a look see.” She snickered under helmet as her Omni-tool activated. 

“Tali! No!”  Shepard stammered attempting to get up and stop
Tali. Too late. The console chimed and Mordin’s recorded message appeared on
the screen.

“Shepard.  Given Tali necessary stimulants to bolster immune system and...impulses.  Provided
handbooks on specific positions both species might enjoy.  Ointments also encouraged.” Mordin took a
breath and continued. “Handbooks are in your lower left drawer.  Examples are provided on pages 24-38. 
Also, for step to step instruction; access extranet site...”  The console clicked off.  Shepard slowly turned
to look at Tali’s masked face.  He could see her glowing eyes
blinking rapidly before turning to meet Shepard’s gaze. 

“This is...awkward.” She looked down and began wringing her hands together. “But
oddly pleasing.”  Her voice muttered the words before looking back up to Shepard.

I actually think his voice actor was great; his lines just sucked

You need the PC version of Dragonage. Basically you change the portrait image of one of your character to what you want, do a save, and it gets uploaded.

I like him.  His problem is that he lacks any personality traits that really stick out to make him a favorite character.  I thought he was a cool character, and the most relatable to being a normal person, but he ends up 4th or 5th favorite for me behind people that are just plain more interesting.

He definitely doesn't deserve the hate he gets, but if anything is clear at this point, its that people don't like the "boring," moral compass, human characters.
