Is anyone else getting the Blank face avatar, with no name, and join date '1969-12-31' where Marine's posts used to be?

Jake, come on now, behave... Wait you're not Jake.
Is that image really considered inappropriate? I'll avoid posting it (in image form anyway) if it's considered by others to not be proper, but it really doesn't seem very bad to me.

Well in my man defense (I lose enough points here already with the damn d'awwwwws and's,) I noticed the obvious features first after initially seeing the picture, but after looking at it a little closer, I think the hands are the best part.
As far as color, Pink/purple is the favorite skin color among the people that don't think she's going to have a pale human skin tone. There isn't really any evidence for any skin color at this point. The purple visor/suit as an alalogue for skin color is the best we have. Personally, I love the purple color

I can't see how that image could really be considered inappropriate. There isn't anything explicit, or suggestive at all. Once you get over the whole OMG, its skin!!! thing, its just a very well drawn picture.

Ahh, Artist's choice then. I like it when people try to reason out why a Quarian's skin would be a certain shade, make's for thought provoking discussion.
The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that their skin would be rather... Wet to the touch? It's a weird thought but it stems from thinking that their bodies naturally try to absorb and gather foreign particles and then "flush" it from their system when it's not compatible.
As a specie they're basically pollen dispensers.

I subscribe to the whole popular sci fi metagaming thing when thinking about their skin. While its doubtful that Bioware ever actually tells us how it feels, Tali is an alien that is supposed to be found attractive by a human audience. Her skin has a good chance of being silky smooth just because of that.
How it would be from a scientific perspective, I've got no idea

It's like hugging a sponge!
Besides Bioware pulled no punches with Garrus's *ahem* chafing.
Which now makes me curious what Mordin would have said about the Asari, we really did go in blind for that one.

I completed a playthrough last night where the entire Normandy crew died (none of the squadmates, just crew). I felt horrible, watching Kelly get liquified, and Chackwas dying. I was really broken up about what my choices.
Then I re-loaded a game where I romanced Tali and invited her up into the cabin. I felt a little bit better.

Damnit I've never had these conflicted feelings of extreme anger and amusement at the same time!

Well then guys, since traffic is slowing down heavily now, I think it's a sign for me to hit the hay.
