I can't see how that image could really be considered inappropriate.  There isn't anything explicit, or suggestive at all.  Once you get over the whole OMG, its skin!!! thing, its just a very well drawn picture.

The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that their skin would be rather... Wet to the touch? It's a weird thought but it stems from thinking that their bodies naturally try to absorb and gather foreign particles and then "flush" it from their system when it's not compatible.

As a specie they're basically pollen dispensers.

It's an awesome pic, but in hindsight it would have been my comment that would have spawned Jake's slew of pics.

The night crowd is mature enough to handle these.

Edit: Hope Marine ain't banned, it didn't look like he really did anything wrong? Please just let it be a bug in the system.

I subscribe to the whole popular sci fi metagaming thing when thinking about their skin.  While its doubtful that Bioware ever actually tells us how it feels, Tali is an alien that is supposed to be found attractive by a human audience.  Her skin has a good chance of being silky smooth just because of that. 

How it would be from a scientific perspective, I've got no idea

It's a glitch.

It happened to me after I switched her outfit from my terminal while she was in the room (I had to sit with her first though)

It caused the game to freeze on a black screen though, lol.

Then I re-loaded a game where I romanced Tali and invited her up into the cabin. I felt a little bit better.

Well I think asari kind of fit my whole sci fi, bangable by humans theory better than quarians would.  Its like they developed thousands of lightyears away just to have sex with humans later

I guess I could see something weird like sponge Tali happening.  Not like that would drive me away.   Although turians in general are supposed to be a lot less compatible with humans than quarians are.  All indications from the game are that humans and quarians should go together a lot better than humans/turians.
