The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that their skin would be rather... Wet to the touch? It's a weird thought but it stems from thinking that their bodies naturally try to absorb and gather foreign particles and then "flush" it from their system when it's not compatible.

As a specie they're basically pollen dispensers.

I subscribe to the whole popular sci fi metagaming thing when thinking about their skin.  While its doubtful that Bioware ever actually tells us how it feels, Tali is an alien that is supposed to be found attractive by a human audience.  Her skin has a good chance of being silky smooth just because of that. 

How it would be from a scientific perspective, I've got no idea

Uhhh... not entirely true.
They made Thane look like I'd hallucinate if I licked his skin.
Getting stoned....hey ...wait a min...that might just be a good idea...."Hey Thane! Come here!"

but the visor this is inaccurate just because tlai has a purple visor does that maker her purple, what about miss black visor on the citidel, does that make her black, or how about Kal'Reegar, does that make him red, No, its just the visor color, all you can tell from it is Tali likes purple

as you see if you go to the purple version (edit'd) and zoom in on eyes you see blue in random areas that dont match up with photo, and this happens in other areas also...
