Well in my man defense (I lose enough points here already with the damn d'awwwwws and's,) I noticed the obvious features first after initially seeing the picture, but after looking at it a little closer, I think the hands are the best part.
As far as color, Pink/purple is the favorite skin color among the people that don't think she's going to have a pale human skin tone. There isn't really any evidence for any skin color at this point. The purple visor/suit as an alalogue for skin color is the best we have. Personally, I love the purple color
Ahh, Artist's choice then. I like it when people try to reason out why a Quarian's skin would be a certain shade, make's for thought provoking discussion.
The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that their skin would be rather... Wet to the touch? It's a weird thought but it stems from thinking that their bodies naturally try to absorb and gather foreign particles and then "flush" it from their system when it's not compatible.
As a specie they're basically pollen dispensers.
I subscribe to the whole popular sci fi metagaming thing when thinking about their skin. While its doubtful that Bioware ever actually tells us how it feels, Tali is an alien that is supposed to be found attractive by a human audience. Her skin has a good chance of being silky smooth just because of that.
How it would be from a scientific perspective, I've got no idea

Shepard: I was about to argue with you...
Tali: Oh really?
Shepard: ...being seeing you get into that adorable pose makes me want to hug you, and invite you up to my private quarters to watch a classical earth vid.
Tali: Oh, well, that sounds pretty nice. <3

Hmm, now that I look more at that pose, doesn't admiral Xen do the same exact cross arms and lean back thing?
Doesn't make her less hot, just interesting

*During Shepard and Tali's romance scene...*
Shepard: It's okay... come here.
*They embrace*
Tali: Wait, Shepard... Cerberus probably has bugs here, in your quarters. I don't think they should, um, know about us... Is there any place on the ship where they don't have any bugs?
*Shepard thinks, and remembers to when Mordin mentioned he got rid of all the bugs in his lab*
Shepard: I know a place...
-An hour later-
*Mordin walks in on them*
Mordin: No! No! Unacceptable! Samples contaminated! Research ruined! Unprofessional! Get out of lab!
*Shepard and Tali run out, clothes in hand*
Mordin: Hm... At least know Shepard payed attention to advice booklet...
but the visor this is inaccurate just because tlai has a purple visor does that maker her purple, what about miss black visor on the citidel, does that make her black, or how about Kal'Reegar, does that make him red, No, its just the visor color, all you can tell from it is Tali likes purpleArchonsg wrote...

Uhhh... not entirely true.
They made Thane look like I'd hallucinate if I licked his skin.
