Would you be dissapointed if it appears she has long, elven like ears?

Also, I agree with Eldar.

I wouldn't be disappointed, but it's already been established that their ears are noticeably different from human's... Elf ears aren't really that different.

You don't see people with long pointy ears, that's different.

The way the book put it, it was more guessing that they had ears there, instead of the "Oh hey, that right there's an ear"

Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts. Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear" (Ascension, p. 235).

thats all it says about thier appearance?

If I remember right, it was describing the quarian that was beaten and tourtured so only ear was visable

I hope we have a flashback of the ME2 romance only from Shepard's POV. Then later in ME3 we can have ANOTHER one muahaha!

Anyways chickens have 4 toes on each foot so why do we say Tali has chicken feet? Only creature I can think of is a goat? Some dinosaur? Chicken feet is easier you're all right.

Still sexy :P

We can discuss this forever, since bioware only can tell us how they look.

Precisely. Which is why BioWare should reveal Tali's face, and thus also give an indicator of what the Quarians in general may look like, since they are the only ones that can do so with any sort of authority. All the fan drawings in the world won't ever carry that kind of credibility.

Well, give her nice glowing eyes, a human-like nose, and a Predator's jaw. That would be awesome.

That would be a "Fail" in my book but I'll still take it over no face reveal at all.

Fail? That would be a wonderful idea, but unfortunately, BioWare has already stipulated that quarians have human-like jaws. So, unfortunately for me so many other people who want Tali to be semi-ugly just out of principle, it's not going to happen, which is good for people of your caliber, I suppose.

I completely disagree that it would be any sort of "wonderful" to bastardize the Quarians by ripping off a late 1980's alien. Call that "creative" or "original" if you will.

I know my idea isn't creative, but you have to admit, making the quarians look like humans (face-wise) isn't that terribly creative either.

Your idea isn't even plausible considering otherwise is stated in the books.

Yes, and if you have even read any of the posts you just quoted, I just admitted to that.

Given BioWare's established and proven dedication to minutia in their games, and considering that it is just one more face out of so many others along with the fact that ME3 is Shepard's & Co.'s swan song, I would be very surprised if they didn't incorporate Tali's face out of laziness.

I was talking about the race as a whole, from a development perspective is much more convenient that everybody looks alike. It would´nt be a problem to reveal only Tali, I agree.

They can be lazy on some things (shared animation rigs, overly reused resources, tricky camera angles) it's much more noticeable en DAO. May be small stuff but it just bothers me a little.

Aye, especially since when we play the ME games we are actively encouraged to immerse ourselves in to pretending that we actually are Shepard, and thus see, hear, think, feel and do the things that on-screen Shepard does. On-screen Shepard got to see Tali's face in my play through. I want to see her face as well.

Has anyone [in the thousands of posts] thought that we may only get to see an OLD Tali's face in the ME3 epilogue once she takes off her helmet on the "homeworld"? If we see her face I wouldn't be surprised that it's done in this way.

EDIT:  That or in a potential funeral if you don't get the "smurfy" ending.

They need to show you Tali's face for the sake of the Romance. Mysterty and imagination is great and all but they can only sustain us for so long. We feel in love with her character, not a cheap mask. Not being able to see her face is like reading a book without words, or building a puzzle without pieces, it's just not complete. She is an amazing character, with an amaxing personality, has a great VA. A perfect, beautiful face would top this all off and make her one of the best females characters in history (IMHO). If you loved someone, would you feel jipped if you couldn't stare into their eyes, their face hid because a mask of laziness. It was bad enough that Shepard go to see her face. WE PLAY as Shepard, we learn, feel and experience through him. When he romanced Tali and got to see her in her beauty, we were ripped away from Shepard, forced to watch as a bystander. This was a cheap move and ticked me off. Shepard knows what Tali looks like. If they go through the entire series and don't reveal her, it would be like BioWare is mocking us and I don't want one part of it!

SHOW HER FACE! COMPLETE THE CHARACTER WE FEEL IN LOVE WITH!

I heartily concur.

A FULL FACE REVEAL OF TALI AS A RECRUITABLE AND ROMANCEABLE PARTY MEMBER IN ME3, PLEASE BIOWARE!

What do you think, Revan?

Hmm...Well my curiosity side agree with you.
However I think that some of you are giving Bioware too much stress about it.
What if she is not what you expect to be.
What if doesn't have what you wanted her to have?
I think such thing doesn't count.
If they don't show her face, it will be fine with me.

Few things are original at this point in human culture and history. As for being creative I think BioWare have done a bang up job of creating an entire race of people with a rich and developed culture, history, mannerisms and appearance so far. If the Quarians are human looking I wouldn't mind one bit. The jellyfish Hanar and elephant like Elcor can pick up the slack if need be. Not to mention the horribly genetically twisted Collectors (poor Protheans).
