Shepard: It's not a reservoir, it's a hot tub. We're going to put that to good use, and often.
Tali: Wait, we're going to bathe in it? That's such a wasteful and inefficient use of water!
Shepard: Yes it is, and you're going to enjoy every second of it <3

Thanks Archonsg.

There's still a desk in Shepard's office.
Although now that I think about it, doing it on Miranda's desk would be pretty much the ultimate insult. Too mean for me personally, but I'm sure some others can have fun with the massively hurtful irony

But think of the data you could record, actual field testing of human quarian intercourse.

I think it's safe to assume that with the behemoth size of this thread and Miranda's that both Tali and Miranda at least will return in Mass Effect 3.
Miranda will return because she is the most marketable character. She has a famous VA and a body that just screams "hey 13 year olds, go tell your parents to buy you this game." She also has plot armor out the ass. She's staying.
Tali will be back because she has proven to be a ridiculously popular character among the fanbase, most likely to the complete surprise of Bioware. With the mystery still surrounding her, and the whole situation with the quarians, she's simply the most interesting character going forward as well. Whether she'll be back as a squad mate isn't really the question, I'm more wondering if Bioware will cave to the fans and give Tali more screen time than she had in ME2. (hoping)
I hardly think Miranda is the most 'marketable' character tbph, and I'm biased in case you couldn't tell by my signature. Sure, Yvonne Strahovski co-stars in NBC's Chuck but other than that, she hasn't really done much in the US of A that I'm aware of (although she's done more here in Australia, but not really in the public-eye if you know what I mean, in case you aren't; then lets say that the first time I heard of her was in Chuck, and not in any Australian program). I like Miranda in more than just her physical 'perfection' which honestly has more to do with the eyes of the beholder than anything else (although I have to say that she strikes me as being 'hot' perhaps unsurprisingly). I agree with the 'plot armor' idea-thing though, her father is rather foreshadowed isn't he? Apparently Miranda is hard to kill as well going by these forums, although I've never tried (everytime I tried something 'new' I inevitably end up romancing Miranda because I actually find her interesting... and other than because she's well, 'hot.'
As for Tali, well... I don't like her as a romanceable character in all honesty, although I like her character quite a bit. To me at least, Tali always struck me as a 'kid-sister' sort of character, and I'm far more interested in pushing her towards Kal'Reegar since it's obvious to me that there is plenty of mutual respect/admiration and possibly a bit of flirtation between them.
Also, I feel the need however unjustified, to point out that I'm not 13 years old and that I still like Miranda. I find her to be a study of contrasts, and not the loopy crazy contrasts like Jack (who I honestly can't stand, but I also can't stand the idea of killing her off either), she's self-assured in a way but also rather insecure, but not insecure in the way of a 'clingy woman,' which I'm sure every guy can relate to in some way (much the same as women can't stand 'clingy guys' I'd wager)

Knowing her tastes she would probably enjoy watching
I think she would take it pretty hard personally. She puts on a tough front, but I think the whole, seeing the result of losing Shepard to a quarian first hand, on her desk, may be a little too much. She definitely doesn't care about Shepard as much as Tali does in the reverse situation, but she's very prideful, and that pretty much cuts her legs completely off. It would definitely lose her loyalty at least
