I have a weird fetish for tragedies all of a sudden, what with all of the Tali-themed ones I've seen lately...

I bet Tali would like Titanic. She's a female afterall. And the story is simple and "universal" enough so that she can understand what's going on without being aware of human culture. All you'd really need to explain is that it takes place before spaceships and computers and all that; hell, even that would be pretty obvious from the get-go.

In reality, someone would have probably made a "Modernized version" of which she would understand better. =]

Space-Titanic would be an awesome film. Oh wait, Futurama already covered that, and it was awesome.

But I don't want to sit through Titanic again :crying:

Disclaimer: The crying face is because I've seen it enough, not that the story is too sad.  I need to save some man points here =]

Point taken, how about I take over that job from
now on. I'll send the images personally to any newcomer Talimancer so
they know what's up [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]  and it
is nice to know thy enemy. It proves those who claim Talimancers are
obsessive  are proven that fact of themselves.

Thanks, I'll remember this. Mostly it just reminds me of the hopelessness of humanity, I think that's why I have an alien fetish now :bandit: B)

I don't worry about losing man points (isn't that obvious enough?!), because the way I see it, man-points are like paper currency: I'll make more whenever I want, and they're man-points because I say they are!

You know, I'm kinda the same way. . .
I think that's why I'm okay with picking Tali in those would you save 'X' many humans or Tali.
Now, Tali is rad, this has been proven by science, but there's more to it than that. On my list of favorite ME races, humanity is extremely low.
Three guesses as to what the first and second are. ^_^

They're all still made by Bioware (humans), so it's definitely a curious situation. Bioware simply adds more ACTUAL humanity (I already hate saying this word) to the aliens and Tali, so I guess it's a longing for the geniune goodness in people...:crying: lol I had that youtube video playing Nearer My God To Thee in the background so typing this post was especially legendary B)

Here's a thought. In ME3, you visit Earth. While on Earth, your alien crew members are met with some racism by an NPC or whatever.

Yeah, since Tali will be in my squad, I'm going to be getting some renegade points after that.

Bro, you just gave me another idea. My gmod collection grows

And that's why I play Paragade. Can't miss opportunities such as sword fighting when it's the only way to defend Tali's honor! Malcolm Reynolds knows B)

I recall a similar situation happening in ME2 and being massively disappointed with the retalliation options :?

Being able to go renegade in response to racism against Tali is one thing, having her be discriminated against and having the only options to walk away peacefully or a crappy "be nice" speech is much, much worse.  I'm all for educating people on the reasons to keep an open mind in ME3 though

I can't see it being on Earth though, that seems like a large undertaking from a developmental standpoint.  I would prefer it if they were working on more dialogue/interaction for Tali
