Acting privileged and trying to dictate to others how they should behave in a public thread, what is okay for them to discuss and what is not, etc. in a puritanical manner in tandem with your own inner workings is not tolerant which is how you described yourself a few pages back. To your credit you later came back and apologised - fair do to you on that part.


It's not charm. It's respect. Though you know I don't have blind respect, as most people do. I have respect for the comments you used to make. I don't respect you because your name is posted on the OP, but for the comments you've made in the past. I thought you would understand that. A ton of the people who stopped posting in the thread post in that group now. Whether they agree with me or not, it's a place where some like to go. It's solved the problems as far as ****storms have gone, and you all rarely see me telling you all to get back on-topic, no?  It's a win win for all and relations have been fairly better since then.

You said it yourself. This is a public site. People of all ages use it. People use it if they're at work, or if they're at home. It should be moderated to be a safe site for all to see. A lot of people seem to agree with me, I guess. Didn't make it to spite you all, made it so people can have a place to go without seeing censored shots and all that. Also it's a nice place where I don't have to sift through Asari and Geth RP.

Now. I'd really like to avoid having this drag on.

They seem to like to group attack.  I've seen them do it a few times.  It's a little odd, but its all the same trolling stuff, just from multiple people.  Best to just ignore.

Maybe some, although I don't find arguing with trolls to be satisfying for the most part.  You can completely verbally wreck someone, but if they just respond by covering their ears and yelling "LALALALA," I don't really get the point.  Most aren't looking for reasonable responses, and aren't going to make a good conversational partner.

Its basically the one quote, don't argue with stupid people, they'll you bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.  Or something like that.


A salient observation IMO. Still, "know thy enemy"....Walk in his/her shoes for a bit? :D
