Hmm... If he's so emotionally dead that he just has sex when he is bored, then he must be a really ruthless warrior, a frickin' killin' machine. And that means, yes. He is very able to save the Galaxy. But he doesn't care about what happens to his mates, or anyone else, so it would probably be bloody as hell... Or, if he's that emotionless, he might take all the power to himself and become the villain... The whole Galaxy's enemy, even after saving the Galaxy from the Reapers...

Does this qualify as an acceptable answer..?

Well, the only things present in our bodies that is directly connected to amino-acid chirality are proteins, and those come most commonly as enzymes (in our bodies, anyway, excluding food supplies), which are present in fairly large numbers in saliva, hence, the only thing certain to be sweet from Tali would be her kiss.

(Mind you, this is based on my fairly lacking knowledge of biology, and if I'm wrong, please do correct me, I'd love a more educated take on this matter)
