Apparently Mordin, Tali, and Jack are the most likely to die. In that order.

I've only ever heard of Mordin dying though, never Tali or Jack...

And Miranda is the hardest to kill.

And people complain.Image IPB

I've heard people comparing it to Dawn of War 2, but I never played that game myself so I can't say for sure.
Units don't carry over to the next mission, they have 3 ranks, as they did in the previous games. The most important thing in the multiplayer matches, is keeping control of the majority of 5 key points on a map, as well as not throwing your units at the enemy uselessly. If, say, a unit costs 8 capacity, and the enemy kills it, the opposing team gains 8 points. The first team to reach 2500 points wins, so losing too many units can cost you the victory, even if you keep control of the majority of those special areas.

A lot of diehard fans were disappointed by C&C4 fans it seems. I myself felt like I "owed" it to them to at least try the game, because I enjoyed all the previous parts. And I'm one of those who enjoy the new system as well, so I have no regrets on that, myself.

The only sad thing is, that it's apparently the last part of C&C. I'll miss the franchise.

Its the last part of just the C&C Tiberium series I believe.

TBH, the suicide mission is one of the easiest parts of the game.
It's the Collector ship and Horizon that pisses me off. :pinched:

The difficulty doesn't matter when it comes to squaddies dying. They still get incapped.
The only way a squaddie can die during the mission is during a cutscene.

I dunno if your Tech expert getting roasted in the vents counts as death, I believe it's just a Critical Mission Failure. ;)

DOW2 Team battles are the best online RTS I've ever seen.

1v1...meh, DOW1 did it better.

I havn't play'd the last C&C though, I stopped enjoying base building back in Dune 2.

Wait...I never enjoy'd base building.
