There is currently a thread started about the "Tali thread phenomenon", why it is so long. Please believe me...I'm just very curious. I've been at this internet thingie a long time, and a member of lots of boards...and until now, I think about 160 pages was the longest I've seen. What is is about Tali'Zorah that would inspire this kind of devotion? I mean no disrespect here. I am sincerely curious and eagerly await any serious replies in that thread.

To answer question, personally find Tali to be brilliantly written character. Perhaps best seen in a video game.
Has wonderful personality. Gorgeous body. Excellent in combat. Best engineer. Many things. Love her character very much.

Tali is a likable character, thus she gets a lot of fans. Most people don't think quite as much as they should, so they look at the big number of posts, and automatically assume "oh man those people are so obsessed with Tali!" In reality, we probably don't like Tali any more than Liara fans like Liara, or Miranda fans like Miranda; there's just more of us. Thus, there's more posts, more pictures, more fanfics, more "extremists", etc. etc.

That's all there is to it.

Well, I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with the Talindoctrination process. . .

Seriously, though, I know this threat has just reached. . .INSANE sizes. I really have no idea why that is.
I guess Tali really is all that awesome.
All I do know is this: I've been on this page nearly every night for. . .what, 2 months now? I have no idea how long this phenomenon will last, but I plan on hanging around for as long as I can.

Actually, one guy seemed to believe that Wrex was only a cameo in ME2 instead of a squadmember, because Tali was more popular. That's why he's hating on the Tali thread and her fans.
