Does anyone else think that Shepard could have done more to help Lia'Vael? He definitely fixed the immediate problem, but when I first did the mission I definitely had the feeling there was going to be something else involving the used ship dealer.

It was pretty messed up when Tali starts talking about the pilgrimage and the C-Sec guy yells "You can take your traditions and cram 'em!"

Yes, that whole encounter left me hanging I felt. They could seriously tie a renagade option in with the upcomming Kasumi DLC, being a thief and all...

 Yeah, I would've liked to help her out some. Maybe give her a job doing maintenance on the Normandy while it's docked.

Instead, it was like:

Lia'Vael: Most nights I eat nutrient paste in a turian shelter, but I'm surviving.

Shepard: I'm sorry to hear that, but good luck with your pilgrimage.

*Shepard walks to the store 15 feet away and spends 10,000 credits on pet fish and model ships*

I really wish there was more you could do, especially at the end when she talks about living in a Turian shelter eating nutrient paste.
I'd liked to have just handed her a few thousand credits and said "Go buy a ship."  That's pocket change for most Shepards, and it's the kind of thing that could come back to reward you in ME3.

I thought it was perfect. The officer and volus were both being complete jackoffs. Even after the girl was proven innocent, they still harassed her and Shepard's answer was to step in and, very physiclly, tell them to kindly back the **** off. 

Now, if one of them would have pressed him, I'm betting we would have seen some violance. :innocent:
