very true so how do you think they should reveal her face
i think they should do it at the end like: They are on or in orbit around Talis home planet both Shepard and Tali confess their love for each other. Shepard takes of her mask we see her face they both say I love you they kiss and then the credits roll
Eh, unlikely. I think it'll tie in with the inevitable Quarian/Geth peace mission. She'll have likely undergone treatments to be able to survive without her suit by that point.
All Tali fans, read this! IT'S UP TO US TO KEEP TALI ALIVE! 3.0!!

I'm all for making Tali's reveal a LI only option.
The thing is though, it isn't really an intimate moment for Tali and Shep this time. He's already seen her face, even though we haven't. That's why I think they may end up making the reveal for everyone.
I kind of imagine a scenario where we've reclaimed the homeworld, and the quarians can relatively safely go without suits for a while without risking death. Tali changes out of the suit into a bikini or something and walks out and asks Shep how she looks. As long as there's a "DAYUM" option, I'm fine with a reveal like that for people that didn't romance her.
I don't know for sure, but I think Tali would kind of like the option of getting out of the suit and letting everyone see the real her.
There are probably plenty of better ways to do it for people that romanced her though, depends on how Bioware wants to play it I guess.

*Shepard gets shot just as a final enemy dies. He collapses to the ground, not moving*
Tali: SHEPARD! *Tali runs to him and kneels next to him* Shepard! No, no! Get up! Please!
*Tali shakes Shepard's shoulders a few times, he doesn't move*
Tali: Please... I can't lose you... *Starts crying* Not you too, not again... *cries, holding her head up with both hands, as she looms over Shepard's body*
--Few seconds later--
Shepard: Hey... you're going to get tears...on your visor... *Shepard's awake, though obviously weak*
*Tali stops crying, and just stares at him for a short while. She suddenly takes her mask off--the viewer gets a clear look at her face--and she leans down to kiss Shepard.*
--Scene fades away, next scene is in the med-bay of the normandy, with some dialog between them--
----
You see her face again during their romance scene.

Isn't that pretty dangerous though? Taking off her mask on the Normandy hopped up on immuno boosters is one thing, taking it off on a random planet with who knows what atmosphere seems pretty reckless.
It does seem a little out of character for Shepard as well, he doesn't really have any weak moments in ME1/2. I kind of feel like the first thing he would say is that he was fine, regardless of how badly he was wounded.
I kind of feel like the whole wounded kiss situation works better with a wounded Tali. Which I most definitely do not want to see, so who knows

I kind of think its more likely that they go the ME2 route, and make death possible, but pretty much only if you're trying to screw up that bad on purpose. I'm really hoping for a happy ending to the trilogy :innocent:

I think it would be worthy ending for Shepard he/she died once already, Shepard deserves rest, plus [clears throat, imitates Max Payne voice] there are no happy endings

I think the best thing would be for your choices to dictate whether or not he dies. But having his death be unavoidable just wouldn't be cool.
I generally don't have a problem with a hero dying, but I don't think it works quite so well with trilogies. It being a video game makes it even worse, since the player tends to get more "emotionally invested" with the hero.

What I'm going to share with you, is that for me, Tali made all the difference in ME2.
I hated the very idea of working with Cerberus. Staring in the mirror and seeing a guy who needed them to survive made my Shepard feel sick.
I didn't like auto-finishing missions. I'm done when I'm done.
I didn't like simplified inventory. I'm a role-play veteran, my career began in D&D ( yeah, I'm not a youngster, got nearly as much hair left as Garrus ), therefore I love browsing thru stuff.
Then Chambers said Tali cares about Shepard. And everything I didn't like was instantly forgotten.
There was only one course of action possible - I went back to ME1, created a new Shepard, played it all thru, pure paragon, and - that made me feel great - I kept both Liara and Ash at 'I like you, I trust you, we work together' distance.
Truth to be told, Tali was the sweetest girl in ME1, my first choice after knowing her, after all this talking about Migrant Fleet, her father, Pilgrimage. I guess I could spent half the play time in engineering.
So if it wasn't for Tali, I might leave ME2 to play ME1 again, and again, while waiting for ME3.
The only downside of this possibility to get closer with Tali is that now I can't try the game as renegade. Whenever i hover pointer over any renegade dialog option, a big flashing "WHAT WOULD TALI SAY ABOUT THIS?!" pops in my head ...... and again I'm a good guy
A few words about Garrus. Only a few, and it will be enough. He's with Tali and me in all those dark places we raid to shred bad guys to bits. Well, except for character specific mission, where some other team member storms into the shuttle, yelling, that this concerns him/her, so s/he won't stay on Normandy.
A few words about romance cut-scene. Simply. It was GREAT. Not like in ME1, but thats even better. Internet gives us a lot of naked "action". The scene, when Shepard smiles as he looks at Tali - a masterpiece. Best few seconds of ME2.
To any BioWare staff that checks up forums - I know you wanted to create a game, but you failed. What you created instead, is a living Universe. Universe I wanted to save. For Tali.

Great post!
I felt the same way about Tali in ME1. She was my first choice for an LI, and I remember talking to her after every mission hoping romance dialog opened up, until I sadly learned she wasn't an option.
Hearing Kelly say that Tali was interested in being more than just friends in ME2 was just so awesome. And when I heard her dialog after her loyalty mission, everything was just perfect.
I also went back and replayed ME1 for a romanceless Shepard for Tali. <3

Well we'll see in two years, ME3 will take place few years after ME2 at least that's my guess since pretty much everyone you meet and give them information say that it will take few years to decrypt, decode the information. Plenty of time for Shepard to have some fun XD
I actually see the complete opposite happening. I think ME3 is likely to pick up right after the end of ME2. For one, its the easiest way to avoid a massive recruiting trip in ME3, and it would be easy enough to keep people like Thane and Mordin around, both of whom are likely to die within a few years.
Some stuff may need a few years to decrypt, but we have no idea when the reapers are going to show up, there's no reason to put off rounding up the geth and krogan and quarians to fight for your cause. There is plenty to do in the immediate future. I can't see Shepard partying on the Citadel, assuming that the reapers will wait for him to be ready to start the mission.

On other forums [GT] we had similar discussion, and the ''Palpatine'' option came up, it's not entirelly impossible with writers Bioware has it could definitelly be possible, Shepard had some extensive cybernetic improvements done to his/her body
