Well don't let me spoil the fun then.     Tali is probably my favorite NPC post ME2!  My original playthrough was planned to be my Ashley-devoted game carried over from ME 1... but I felt HORRIBLE when I had to shoot down Tali during the romance options... so bad that after I beat the game the first time I had to start over from the beginning to get Paramour with Tali.

Then I guess I'll take over Tali Fanart collection duties. Since you won't be around to update it with the endless flowing river of Taliart (<-- new term invented by me). I swear I already got like 200 pics..that's insane, and they keep coming. Taliship (<--new term for Tali Worship), Taliart and FF and the more intelligent posters giving their views and observations on the game that I didn't know of, that's a good enough reason to stick around

You should... and a tip of advice, when buying Poutine in canada, I prefer it made from A&W, or Dairy Queen, A good flavour that can not be described... Heaven (mix it with a blizzard and your tastebuds will just die of happiness)

being in the southeast US, I'm quite a distance away. I'll save my trip for if the Talimancers have to march on Bioware for some reason.

could just try to make it myself too.

In all my conversations with her in ME1 and ME2 she came across like a little sister.  I have a little sister and so romancing someone who came across like a little sister just felt so wrong. No, I don't see her as sisterly.  I understand that some people feel that way, and perhaps it is influenced by the fact that you do have a sister.  But I don't think she really behaves like a sister towards you, and besides... one man's sister is another man's husband, right?

I see her more as someone that I would like to have as a best friend, and IMO, the best relationships are with people who are friends first and lovers later.

Awesome. Tali Paramour ftw.  I agree as well, I realized during Haestrom in my Renegade-Jack Romance playthrough that I wouldn't be able to talk to Tali at all cuz of the sadness of the "rejection" sequence. And I couldn't just not talk to Tali, so I changed my mind and turns out Tali changed my Renegade into a Renegon

Thank you for participating in my social experiment. As I have lied to you, I believe you deserve the truth. I am an engineering/physics/computer science major(aka undecided) and my first experience with automotive mechanics was in high school, secondary to all you brits. I loved it so much I was planning on returning to the program after I graduated but I wasn't allowed to.



I love working with my hands, which is why I am torn between engineering and starting a business building a repairing computers.



I love tali. Maybe not as much as you all but I love her all the same. She's techy and smart, and her personality is strong yet human, prone to emotions. Not like Miranda.



Her appearance is pretty much meaningless to me, but I have seen many comments about why others differed.



I started this experiment after an experience over at the Liara thread. Things got very heated, and threats were exchanged. One of the regulars of the thread PMed me asking why I went on based on her limited understanding if the conversation. She was curious why Tali fans and Liara fans can't get along, and that got me thinking.



I wanted to compare the reactions I got from the Liara fans to the one I got from you. My first post is a copy and paste of my post in the Liara thread, but with many details changed. You all were polite at first and stayed that way for four pages, for the most part. In the same number of pages one of the posters on the Liara thread threated to belt me had I said what I did to her face. You have proven that your code is superior. Even when I had said a veiled insult you all accepted my difference of opinion. The mechanic discussion is very similar to one I had at the Liara thread, except that you all took me at my word and interpreted what I said literally, whereas the Liara thread people chose to take my words at their connotation.
