I'm upset that so many people are cut off with it; but since the only thing Bioware's getting out of it is free advertising.. me boycotting does nothing except keep me from possibly getting free things. <_<

Yeah better question yet, why do WE have 5 digits? We don't even need 3 of our toes anymore, 5 fingers on each hand is good, but wouldn't be that bad with 3, Tali doesn't seem too inhibited by it <3

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel.  The character's appearance isn't a large part of my opinion of them.  I'm sure there is some limit, it may be different if Tali was a human character completely, but the hands and feet are a small enough change that she would be exactly the same Tali

Character and appearance both count for something to me. Others' opinions and tastes may differ, and that's okay too by my reckoning.

I sort of agree with everything said, to a certain degree ( I know, the coward's way).
Tali's uniqueness is one of the things that sets her apart, and makes her such a great character. 

But at the same time she's Tali no matter what.
