Good for you. I became a lonely mage, obsessed with tracking down one shapeshifter bearing an Old God :P

Some of my mages did that, too.

I've read half the first page and already got freaked out :o
I mean, they're suggesting Tali shouldn't be a squadmate in ME3 just because she might have died in ME2.
I say, those who didn't work hard enough to get  "No one left behind" achievement don't deserve to import.
Besides, having Garrus and Tali in 2 games out of 3 would seem oddly asymmetrical IMO.
And I'd take Tali over Liara, Ashley and Wrex combined any day.

Anyway, we have to keep up the pressure :)

Go, Tali, go!
Keelah se'lai.

Tali died in mine Image IPB
I figured I'd keep her in my squad so I could make sure she couldn't die & she ended up being carried away by seekers.

Thats what importing ME2 characters are for! *pats you on the back*
You keep all your levels, a second chance at saving that beloved character, as well has getting 50000 of each resource! still have plenty of Ezzo...

If you use the same character for your second ME2 playthrough, can you import both of them into ME3?
or do you lose your original playthrough/save?

Renegade option!
*Pats jacob on the shoulder* "Time to put yourself in the history books Taylor." Aww Hell No! "Go or i put out everything i can about your father to the news, destroying your familys reputation before you die sad and alone because you turned down miss perfect over there." *points at mirandfa who flips her hair* "Unlike you some of us have people who we care about or more important things to do before they die! Grunt has a clan he must respect, Thane has a son to think about, Mordin's mind is too great to waste on this, Garrus has a nurse he's got to go see, and I've Got A Home To Build."

"I'll tell them you died a hero."

Ouch, Jacob before Thane and Modrin? Thats cold

Jacob might be boring, but morally he's one of the truly good people on the crew. I like that he was the only person more or less I didn't have to stop from shooting someone during the loyalty mission.(slight exaggeration)

Well Thane is a friend, a good friend with a lot more heart then anyone on the crew. I want to help him build a better relationship with his son, and kill that douche crimelord back at the citadel >.> I never did kill him before even though a REALLY wanted to. I swear if he hurt Mouse :crying: I want to give him chocolate :crying:

Mordin of course is the man with the plan when it comes to just about everything, and it always help to have a line in with one of the greatest special ops organizations around. STG are just... brillant.

You can use both, they have the same name but they are both Different Character Saves. you should be able to import them to ME3 as people were able to use replayed ME1 saves.

Jacob is a better man then Thane is. Jacob takes full responsbility for his actions. Thane writes off much of his as either being a tool for his employers or being disconnected.

And frankly, it suprised me that Kolyat didn't give thane a big FU when he tried to creep back in his life. It's a little too late for him to make nice. Thane is going to die in a year, so basically he's giving his son more emotional baggage. "Hey son, I just wante dyou to know that I did truly love you...oh btw I'm dying soon"

Mordin is cool and useful for a number of reasons, but he might die in a handful of years. Hardly seems justified to kill Jacob over him either, it's not like Jacob's ties to the Alliance/Cerberus couldn't be useful.

My Ties to the alliance are likely better then his, and like hell i'd want to use his connections to Cerberus (sole survivor)
I'd rather let a old dog live its last years with a soft bed and warm fireplace then put it down like that. Mordin is like that old dog, but can do calculus.
Jacob, just never did anything to get my respect. He saved the council sure, but i've known way better black military soldiers then he. *fistbumps Anderson*

:D that's just evil,i like it. But Jacob's a cool and useful guy and i don't understand why so many people hate him, and also why send him when you have the baywatch reject  (you all know who i'm talking about)

Him being upfront with you about working with cerberus didn't impress you?

How he handled his father's actions didn't impress you?

I you must not of read mice and men, regarding old dogs heheh.

He's a cool guy and all that, but he's not a very intriguing character. If someone must die, I'd choose him first.
