I understand that she is only 5/7 years younger than Shepard but that doesn't affect how she came across to me.  Maybe it is just her personality, it might just rub me the wrong way.

Ok. She never seemed like a little sister to me. I have no sisters in real life. She also reminded me of Mission Vao from KOTOR. She's good with machines and mechanics, which is, to me, attractive. She also has mystery. Her hips are an added bonus. I love her TRANSYLVANIAN accent. Also, most of us Talimancers are lonely, depressed, guys with no lives. (MOST not ALL).

I wanted to compare the reactions I got from the Liara fans to the one I got from you. My first post is a copy and paste of my post in the Liara thread, but with many details changed. You all were polite at first and stayed that way for four pages, for the most part. In the same number of pages one of the posters on the Liara thread threated to belt me had I said what I did to her face. You have proven that your code is superior. Even when I had said a veiled insult you all accepted my difference of opinion. The mechanic discussion is very similar to one I had at the Liara thread, except that you all took me at my word and interpreted what I said literally, whereas the Liara thread people chose to take my words at their connotation.[/quote]

I think that's mostly a question of grip. If you had individual fingers which were substantially stronger, I think your hold wouldn't be compromised.

Perhaps to an extent, but even added strength does not replace increased area surface in regards to grip and stability which having five fingers vs. three fingers provides.

You certainly have a point there, but I'm not arguing that three fingers is better or just as good. All I'm saying is that it's managable.

Yeah, but it's inefficient. 

It's better to overcome a hurdle with leverage mechanics than brute force. 

Your calf muscle for example, can easily lift your entire bodyweight single-handedly, because of the lever mechanics of the foot and the ankle.

I concede this one to you. Having multiple smaller fingers is better than having fewer larger ones. There are probably some advantages to having only three fingers, but I can't think of any.

On a sidenote, I love this thread. I can't imagine having this discussion anywhere else.
