With all the tech upgrades and choosing the appropriate class when you level her up, it becomes quite short. Less then 20 seconds, and the Attack Drone usually lasts longer than that anyways.SirEmilCrane wrote...

Agree, Tali was made for the soldier
my only gripe is that the cool down on her drone is way too long

Drone 100x more useful than Shotgun. Tali combat AI also superior. I hardly have to command her to use that drone, she always casts it at the right times. The 20 second recharge that everyone complains about is not as bad as I thought on Insanity. One or 2 per battle is enough.
Soldier Shepard rushes in, blasts away enemies with Adrenalin, but get's cornered. Then Combat Drone comes outa nowhere and distracts them all. Shepard sprints to safety behind a pillar next to Tali. "Thanks" he says, then headbutts Tali affectionately.
