umm powers are only reason I prefer Soldier over Infiltrator. Adrenalin > Cloak  and ammo powers. Plus you get the Widow just like the Infiltrator

You know Soldier is the best class when you can practically beat Insanity with little to no help from your squad mates. Soldier is a bulldozer, I could literally use a team of Joker and Chakwas and completely destroy the Collector base and the giant Terminator.

You didn't leave enough good defenders behind to hold the line.  Grunt and Garrus are 1 and 2 I believe.  Mordin is the worst defender, that's why he dies first in the situation.  Send Mordin back as the escort if you aren't going to take him to fight the final boss.
