Yeah, I need to make a renegade Shep from ME1 to import to ME2.  It won't be easy to keep as many NPCs as possible alive and still fill up the renegade bar.  Not really sure where I can make up the points I'll lose by saving the rachni and the colonists on Ferros.

Use Noveria Renegade glitch to max it. My import is full Paragon and Renegade, start's in ME2 with +187 in each category.

Can you explain that one for me quickly?  I've heard about it, but don't know what it is specifically.  It would save me a lot of time reloading my game after getting Wilson to add 4 renegade points at a time 

Google is your friend. Basically, Lurik's evidence or w/e, talk to Giana, agree to convince him to use evidence, talk to him, ask about Benezia, then evidence, then "damn right I will", then he's like "I still haven't been contacted by your employer" I can't remember, anyways you can loop the same dialogue with Lurik and get +25 renegade each time.

Maybe your conclusion has the number of members you talked to v.s amount of hostility, but again, it's just a good experiment forknowledge, not a hate-o-meter. I won't like Liara or Liara fans less because 4 of them overreacted one day of the year, but I enjoy a good psychological experiments

Renegade Shepard in ME2 with Tali? Forget it. My full Renegade get's turned into a Renagon after I recruit:

I always play the super-bad guy in RPG games. Always have... after you try it once, it's really impossible to go back.
I think the only games that I've ever actually made "good" decisions were ME1+2. (I'll admit, Tali made me a bit biased.)

In fact, both my ME1 and ME2 characters ended up being 100% renegade and 50% paragon. (Yes, it's possible.)

I only caught the tail end of it but IIRC he said that he thought Tali would be unintelligent because she was a mechanic. He also pressed us on the little sister thing that some people feel about Tali.

We responded in a calm and level headed manner

He asked similar questions in the Liara thread and the response was less polite

It seems like everyone here is too desensitized to negativity to react poorly to mild aggravation.  We get so many trolls in here spouting off unsubstantiated hate that when someone comes in here willing to discuss things they don't like about Tali in a civilized manner, its almost a present.

Other threads, without that exposure, are more likely to bite the person's head off.  I imagine trolls would probably have better luck with other threads as well.  Here dealing with them is routine

But you know, seeing her sitting in the back seat, not saying anything, as Garrus and I discussed killing that guy, just made her seem a bit, little sister-ish.

I looked over there once
He said that she had mental problems, some responded well, others freaked out and made epic flamming textwalls

Then they went on to talk about how because Liara couoldn't die and how Tali was so important in ME2 that Tali's time was over and she was dead to the story
