Yeah but I went on to give my personal impressions of Liara and I never stated them as fact.  I always said they were my impressions based on my experiences.  The only people I said were wrong were the people who claimed that because they helped someone with their mental issues that that somehow made them experience enough to judge me for not wanting to start a romantic relationship with someone who had their own issues.  I'm not masochistic, but they didn't want to acknowledge that I had more experience than them.

He did a good job here, too, man. Said mechanics are greasy and unintellectual, was good moment to flame him. It wasn't like he was trolling and recorded the response time.

So you wrote a statement that was intended to provoke people and those people were provoked. I don't see the reason to shake my head at Liara fans for reacting negatively to an experiment that I feel has some shakey ethical grounds, or feeling proud because Tali fans got your gold star for reacting in a more positive fashion to the Liara fans.

No, the Liara thread was a genuine question i had for them. Their reactions as well as a comment one of them made to me via PM were what prompted me to see what the Tali thread would do in a similar circumstance.  I wasn't trying to provoke anyone in the Liara thread.

Yeah that scene did come out nicely. 

I think my personal fave scene was the Freedom's Progress bit... since the tone of the song really built up to the part where Shep and Tali see each other.

What was the opinionary observation GuardianAngel made in the Liara thread that would bring hostility? They couldn't possibly be angry at saying Liara has mental problems...she clearly does.

Actually, that is exactly what they were angry about.  The objective observer sees mental problems, many of them saw love.  Difference of opinion that i tried to dissuade with my personal experience with getting over a mental disorder.  You can read the whole discussion on the Liara thread, it starts at page 442.

It started out well, people were civil and explained what they thought. Then it went downhill and caught fire. You really have a nack for invoking fans.

But to be fair, I know some of us would do the same thing.

I'm sure, and I'm not saying my experiment somehow captures all Tali fans and what their reactions would be.  I'll be the first to tell you that there were all sorts of things wrong with my experiment that would have immediately invalidated the results were I trying to publish it in a peer reviewed journal.  I just was curious about the Tali thread and I tried to minimize the number of variables that were beyond my control.

No, the tali thread were my experimental group. My experience at the Liara thread was what I was comparing things to.

I agree that my experiment was ambiguous ethically, but it isn't like I gave you all anthrax in your water to see what would happen.  No one was harmed, and the posters at the time took it very well.

Not difficult to see the logic in experiment. Even if it's on some level of provocation, it was done to both parties yet will receive different results. I don't hate Liara or Liaramancers less because a handful of them took offense to something miniscule, but it's an interesting experiment nontheless. At the moment people think we're smug poll-destroyers!

And concerning the newly asked question regarding Tali's clothing color scheme, I will invent a new term/saying:
