No, private message. Unless I get permission from the other poster then I can't share it.  It would be a breach of trust and it could be perceived as a betrayal.  She trusted me enough to share her thoughts on many things, and If I shared them with the Tali thread then I would be contributing to the "Us against Them" theme that seems to be shared by the two fanbases.  I don't think the Liara thread people are bad just like I don't think that all Tali thread people are good.  I still think you're creepy after all.  But my experience with with the two fanbases has shown me that not all lovers of a sweet and innocent girl are good, and that not all creepy members of the Cult of Tali are bad (using the Cult of Tali comment to convey the negative connotation about the Tali thread, not a true representation of my opinion).  

It only shows what I already know: You should never judge people by their reputations.  I believe I told you about my opium growing friend and for all those who don't know, he was the most honorable and likable person I have known in eight years.  Never judge a book by it's cover. That is all this says.

Thanks for that. Spread the word somehow, we need a shock factor to bring the community together. Everyone will have the "us against them" mentality (the majory, anyway) . The "DIE TALI DIE" thread was a groundbreaker, hopefully more understanding will be had amongst the forums. You're still gunna get those that are like "zomg you have sex with alienz in gamez that means you are freak IRL?" people but can't help them...or can you? :devil:

I love black an red, and I loved when I got to equip my entire team in it in ME1.  It was a plus that the armor happened to be the best in the game from Hardcore down.

Collussus Armor- Shepard, Tali, Liara, Ahsley, Kaiden
Phantom Armor- Garrus
Rage Armor- Wrex

My dream team.

The only armor I got comparable to the Colossus armor was the Geth armory armor for Wrex.  I didn't play on Insanity, so I don't know what kinds of items you get for that. Never heard of Rage or Phantom armor, for instance.

Colosuss armour pops up when your level is in the mid 50's or so IIRC
never heard of Rage or Phantom armour either

Personally, I got Quarian Colossus 9 as a reward for the Bring Down the Sky DLC. I haven't seen anything better so far.

That's great news! Lung cancer is a really, really terrible way to go.

I've never smoked, but it seems to run in my family, so I'm not too optimistic about my life expectancy. But eh,  at least I got a better shot.

TIM got me addicted to cigarettes. lol j/k but I say Shepard in ME3 is smoking constantly cuz of TIM's second-hand smoke

Well, Colossus X is obviously better. You can get it for BDTS as well, if you're high-level enough. Or you can sometimes buy it on the Citadel, with enough luck.
Not that it matters anymore. Armors don't carry over to ME2, we could just as well play through ME1 naked.

Tali fans have a reputation of being obsessed and overly defensive, and the people who normally reply are indeed the eccentric ones. Liara fans are no different, it's just that we have the most apparent fanbase. Not all Tali fans are obsessed, and not all Liara fans are defensive.

But taking a long-term survey seems like a hassle, and one that really serves no real purpose for that matter.

Oh, I know that.  The only thing that experiment told me is what I already know: That you should never judge people by their reputation.  I know for a fact now what I suspected before, that not all fans of a sweet and innocent character are good and that not all members of the Cult of Tali are bad (I use Cult of Tali as a means of conveying the negative connotation about the Tali fans, not representative of my opinion).

I have had a friend who was extremely honorable and likable.  If he gave you his word then he kept it.  There was just one flaw: He grew his own poppies for the purpose of making opium.  I know that his addiction doesn't make him a bad person just like someone who follows the law may or may not be a good person.  You should never judge a person by the way their actions appear to portray them.  That is all the experiment confirmed for me.
