Well, I cant really get in the details but it ends with Tali, arms raised in triumph, standing victoriously with one foot over the pink-haired chick who is now in a fetal position on the ground lying in a puddle. Then the E-surance logo pops up. Quote. Buy. Print.
Yah, I'm pretty sure that won't get past the censors, but nice scene you paint.

Damn the Pilgrimage. Without it, I might never have known what I was missing. What we had lost when we lost our homeworld.
Hearing that makes me even more determined to get the Quarians their homeworld back.
Damn the Geth! If they don't want to negotiate, I'll come in with the Destiny Ascension, the Migrant Flotilla, and half the Alliance fleet (after a few really really compelling paragon conversations) and take every one who resists out. And then I'll build Tali that house.
It will be legendaryWait, now I have expectations. I swore I would have no expectations!
There's a conversation option during Tali's loyalty mission in which Shepard basically promises her help in getting back the Quarian homeworld. And that sort of foreshadowing is not something Bioware would just throw out there then forget...at least, I hope not.
You wouldn't even need to play the full invasion...just a few epic cutscenes of space battles and troops landing, then Shepard leads a strike force to take the capital city (or other strategic location). It could be a large side-quest, and I'm sure it's appeal would go far beyond just Talimancers.
Of course for the Talimancers, the option to build a home would have to be there.

I highly doubt it'll come to that.
ME2 really does point to the Quarians being able to get their homeworld back, peacefully even.
- The Geth don't use the planet. This is by far the biggest indicator that the Quarians will get it back. They don't use it.
- The Geth have been cleaning it up and taking care of it, for reasons they don't even really understand themselves.
- The ultimate goal of the Geth doesn't involve the Quarians, or any organics, in any way.
- Their ultimate goal of a megastructure to house all Geth, would be most logical to undertake in an area away from where organics will wander. Though more arid than Earth, Rannoch can probably be classified as a "Garden Planet", which of course means will always be of some interest to Organics.
- The Geth get their resources from asteroids, not Rannoch or any of the Quarian colonies.
- The Geth already have stations, in territory where no organics would go, housing billions of programs. "Moving" away from Rannoch wouldn't be much of an issue for them.
Basically, everything we learned about the Geth in ME2, seems to be setting up the pieces so that the Quarians can return home.

Alliance maybe (though I doubt it,) but I can't see any way you're getting asari and other races to step up and help the quarians.
Outright war with the geth seems like a very bad idea in general, and I really can't see it coming to that. If peace isn't an option, I think Xen's brainwashing is the only other alternative.
I saved the Citadel, council, and galaxy for that matter. That should secure at least one ship from the Citadel fleet.
And the Alliance...I was humanity's first SPECTRE, gave them a strong position on the council and in C-Sec, saved countless human colonies from the collectors.
I think Shepard can be extremely convincing when he wants to be. And the Geth are everyone's common enemy, being the scapegoats for Sovereign's attack on the Citadel. It could happen.

Peace would be the best way, certainly.
And the Geth are more human than they appear. They have a deep respect for Shepard, as hinted at in some of Legion's conversations. I could see it going that route.
But if they stand between the Quarians and their homeworld and refuse to budge, they had better pray to the Old Machines for mercy. Because my Shepard would have little.
