OK, hypothetical situation.
There are two bombs on two planets.  Tali is strapped to one of them, and a dozen babies to the other.  Shepard only has time to defuse one, and no one else can help.
Who do you save?

Let me come right out and say that I'm not a big fan of babies. :P

The babies!  Except for my renegade Shep, but she'd save her li over anything . .

I am super jealous of sergio's "classy Tali" avatar.

Clearly, you need an avatar of TIM with a top hat. :police:

The though of buying the PC version of DA:O just to be able to have a custom avatar has crossed my mind a few times.

You know I feel the same way about the hack that allows you to have all squadmembers at the start of the game.

Tali, being the selfless person she is, would probably be super pissed at you for saving her over a dozen babies. I would still save her anyways. I don't owe those babies squat.

The way we Talimancers organize though, most polls in the forum are flooded with Tali votes.
I think on the homepage, where even non-forum members pass by, they would get a much more fair vote.

And Tali would most likely still win, further leading strength to her supporters.

I know. But what I was saying is that Bioware won't do a big poll because they already have detailed data on preferred LIs, squad members, etc. The data gets directly uploaded from the players, unless they turn off that share data option.

If they did do an official poll, it would be purely as a service to the fans--which would probably result in a lot of "civil warring" among them, so I don't think they would. :P

I wasn't aware that data was shared by the game.

Glad I'm showing Bioware how much I care.^_^

Tali, easily.

Tali is useful and important right now, and can potentially make a significant difference against the Reapers. Those babies are 100% useless to the big picture, at least for the next many years. And even when they're grown up, there's a really high chance they'll continue to be useless to the big picture.

Yeah... if you aren't Shepard or on his crew you're pretty much made of suck.

What do you guys think about Legion? Trustworthy, semi justified, or about to get the air lock?

i want to know how you feel about how legion is portrayed in ME2. Do you feel that he can be trusted when he says that he wants peace with the quarians? Do you feel that because he hacked Tali's omni tool he is untrustworthy thus invalidating any ability to make peace?

Just another curious question of mine, this one is genuine though.

Side with Tali every time. Would send Legion to the nearest junkyard at the earliest possible convenience in ME3.
Edit: welcome back!

It's good to see most everyone has their priorities straight in the Tali-Baby dilemma.

If I said baby Mirandas, would all dissent be eliminated? :P

Haha, good!

Ironically, making that vid kinda killed the song for me. I had to listen to it over and over for so many hours!

If that's the case why not just send him to Cerberus, or simply leave him inactive in the AI core if you don't?

Even if you had the Paragon option?  I don't agree that what legion did was justified, but I do feel that I can't hold a grudge on him for it.  He acted in the best interests of his people, just like Tali would were the situation reversed.  I think he should have gone to shepard instead of hacking an omni tool though.

Oh, and thanks.

I actually like Legion. And of course Tali.
